Portrait of Harry, captured using natural light. Shot on the Hasselblad 500CM using Portra 400.
As mentioned before, I love the general feel of the film, but I had to warm it up just a bit to give a more pleasing feel to the skin tones. Interestingly enough, the redness of the lips were like he was wearing lipstick, which I did correct, to save him from embarrassment.
This was taken at the camera workshop I attended on Saturday. We had access to a stunning setting (Dunvegan Keep in Austin, TX) and four beautiful models, a great makeup and wardrobe person for the models and several photography experts to show us lots of neat things. We even got lunch. :) I am just getting started practicing portrait photography. Tips, feedback, etc. are welcome.

This portrait, which was once identified as that of the Emperor Galba (68-69 AD) seems rather to be the effigy of an unknown: the style of this artwork doesn't fit to the rigor expected for the portrait of an emperor who mainly was a great soldier.
Roman marble portrait
Late 1st century AD
