STIK to the rear of Pogo Cafe, Clarence Road, London E5. The figures with flames behind them are yards away from some of the worst violence and vandalism of the August riots in London as seen in some of my earlier photos, where Clarence Road turned into a mini war-zone:

leo ordered the vegan carrot cake with a scoop of vegan ice cream.
just look at it... does it not look like the best slice of carrot cake ever? it sure tasted like the best carrot cake ever... vegan or not.
Thought this guy seemed rather involved in thought and the light around him seemed to add to the mood. Bit darker than I had hoped, but I think it still manages to work.
How did this fare against my rating system? theurbanhousewife.blogspot.com/2008/04/london-calling-eat...
strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream accompanied by crushed biscuits, mango sauce, chocolate sauce... topped with vegan whipped cream and cocoa.
Dom enjoys his Knickerbocker glory at Pogo Cafe in Hackney! (its VEGAN!)
