Something abandoned from Iceland. This beautiful wreck of a car was just outside my hotel room in Egilsstadir. Could anyone tell me what model it is?

A curious behaviour between the youth of Plymouth. Ilike it

The 'Plymouth Wheel' that was setup on the Hoe is about half the size of the London Eye, which is pretty impressive seeing as this is not permanent. Along with this there was also a fun fair on the Hoe.

I wanted to get a motion blur shot of the wheel and try to make the composition a bit more than just the wheel, so after walking past these trees I liked the way the trees sort of framed the wheel and provided a nice silhouette.

Hope you like it.

C&C Welcome

Plymouth 212 (FJY 912E) is seen here parked on Royal Parade whilst working specials. It is a Metro Cammell bodywork Leyland Atlantean and similar but older ancillary bus 7545 (TCO 537) is behind.

Not sure what year and engine this one have, but it had some real power under the hood.

Painted in the original style of the black, white and red livery is Plymouth Citybus 159 (ODV 203W), an East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlantean. It has an all over rear advert, hence the yellow engine bustle, Bretonside Bus Station is the location.

A Plymouth policecar at the burnout box during Västerås Summer Meet 2017. Needless to say it's no stock engine in that beast! :)

Parked in Bretonside Bus Station between journeys to Derriford Hospital is Plymouth 121 (STK 121T), a Roe bodied Leyland Atlantean.

Parked in the spare bays at Plymouh's Bretonside Bus Station is Plymouth CityBus 29 (D129 LTA), a Dodge S56 with Reeve Burgess bodywork. Similar 63 is alongside.

Alredbus, asked if I'd got anymore pictures of Plymouth Atlanteans in bygone years. The answer is yes I have, and I will post the better one's as I find them. In the meantime, this particular view is related to a previous posting, but was found in a completely different slide storage box to the other similar view: www.flickr.com/photos/8050359@N07/3150446613/

The green engine bustle and cream coloured backend of another rear engined bus to the left of the picture, could suggest that this picture was taken in a dealers yard, rather than in Plymouth?

On Royal Parade in Plymouth, loading for Plympton on route 20 is Plymouth 110 (OCO 110S) a Roe bodied Leyland Atlantean

As all my Flickr friends know, my standard style is the picture postcard approach. When the light is really bad I'll sometimes try a mono conversion to see if that works. But this time I thought I'd try something really different and hopefully creative and see what your reaction is. If you don't like it, please tell me! Incidentally, I wasn't happy with the earlier version, so I've deleted it.

This was taken by the Fish Quay in Plymouth's Sutton Harbour, and the light was dire!

Travelling along Royal Parade, Plymouth, possibly to operate a journey on route 40, is 459 (WJY 759), a Leyland Atlantean with Metro Cammell bodywork. Originally a closed top bus, this and two others were converted to open top, this one being named "The Spirit of Plymouth"

Waiting time on Royal Parade is Plymouth City Bus 152 (ATK 152W), an East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlantean.

47557 enters Plymouth station with a small engineers train on 5th September 1989. This was in the period where they put ridiculously small numbers on certain liveries!

This is the third shot I have posted of this wonderful old car, a 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook. The car may be old and rusted but it's not forgotten for it is placed on a leveled pad at the end of a driveway, marking the house address at the road (#3303 Shuswap Road).

Loading on Royal Parade for West Park is East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlantean 145 (VJY 145V). Similar 148 pulls in behind.

These buses are wearing the later version of the Plymouth CityBus livery incorporating the red skirt.

Being used as a driver trainer in June 1976 is Plymouth 137 (TCO 537) a Metro Cammell bodied Leyland Atlantean. It is parked in Bretonside Bus Station.

Waiting time on Royal Parade before another trip to West Park is Plymouth 87 (GDR 212N), a Roe bodied Leyland Atlantean. Carrying an allover advert for Country Hampers, several of the lower panels have been replaced and painted in primer.

Parked in Bretonside Bus Station, Plymouth is 358 (MCO 658), an open top Leyland PD2 with Metro Cammell body, "Sir Francis Drake". Alongside in the shortlived Crimson and Cream livery is 203 (DDR 203D), a Metro Cammell bodied Leyland Atlantean.
