These are unaltered cats for a change! The pretty Fractal pattern is a present from my dear friend marcus.winkler5. I could imagine it floating and rotating in the air. Wouldn't your pet like to play with something like that?

Vintage toys found in an abandoned house in rural Ontario. The tractor & wheels are made from wood & from what I could find is from around the 1950's. The Mickey Mouse appears to be from the same era.

this whole pack has orange streaking at the bottom! i love it. extremely old stuff, it's surprising that stuff is turning out.
What an amazing December day this was. My daughter was in town and had a family portrait shoot at the beach. It was a mildly warm day with almost no wind. The tide was way down and the sand looked like a huge sheet of glass. There were people taking photos everywhere. I counted 12 photographers with tripods. I've lived in Huntington Beach for 27 years and have never taken a grand landscape photo of the pier at sunset. I still haven't, but a few shots with my lensbaby recorded my view of the scene.
The great things about kids is being able to take time out and just play - they have the neatest toys and seem most happy to share. . .;)) In fact after while they wander off to play with something else that catches their eye and you get quality time with your toys of choice!! - gotta luv a train set. . .;)))
Have used up my broadband allowance so my speed has dropped to a crawl - waiting for images to load is almost excruciating!! So will take a while to comment on any uploads for a couple of days. . .;(((

Even though the canal has stopped flowing and children are now in school, this lonely little tire got some company today when I took it for a little spin.

It's never too late - the kids decided to go out and play in the harbour around midnight. The summer is great!
Ahhh I wish I were able to take a better photo for this week ;A; We painted my room this week so it took the majority of my free time. I also have a lot of school stuff to do and so far I've done absolutely nothing... Oops.
I'm excited for the next week since two exchange students from France will arrive here! Their visit was almost cancelled due to recent events in Paris but luckily their teachers found a different way to come here! ♥
