I cannot fail to mention that, for certain types of professional photography results, one definitely needs a superior camera, usually a tripod, and expertise. For example, shooting motion in water or the Milky Way at night. Or wedding, portrait or newborn photography. That is not the kind of photography I do, so I am not motivated to go beyond the investments I have already made in three good Nikons (two full frame) and one decent Canon. To people who have mastered these things, I am truly in awe.
For now, I am content to experiment and in so doing, show you California and how it all appears to me, in reality, with some added imagination.

Petite histoire pour le solstice d'hiver
Louka, le petit renard, tremblait de froid et de peur dans cette nuit sombre et glacée d'hiver .
Il fait de plus en plus sombre, se disait-il, le Dieu est si pale, il est vieux et bien fatigué. Si le Dieu se meurt, jamais la lumière ne reviendra et la Déesse disparaitra à son tour, c'est terrible !!!
Désespéré, il se réfugia dans une caverne et se roula en boule pour dormir afin de ne pas assister à la fin du monde qui selon lui ne manquerait pas de survenir .
Il fut dérangé par deux petits elfes qui arrivèrent dans son repère en chantant à tue-tête...." vive le solstice, vive la déesse et le dieu ... ♫♫♪♫♪ !!!"
- "Mais que vous arrive-t'il demanda Louka aux deux petits êtres, vous êtes complétement fous, vous ne voyez pas que c'est la fin, Le Dieu et la Déesse meurent, la lumière est en train de disparaitre pour toujours?"
Les deux elfes se poussèrent du coude en rigolant très fort !
- "mais qu'il est stupide ...tu n'as pas entendu parler de Yule, gros bêta ? la grande fête de la naissance, le solstice d'hiver !?"
Louka secoua la tête ...
- " vous savez, je n'ai pas encore fait une roue complète.... Qu'est ce que le Solstice et Yule ?!"
- " et bien viens avec nous et tu verra !!!"
Le petit renard suivit ses deux nouveaux amis qui l'entrainèrent au plus profond de la forêt. Après quelques minutes de galopade effrénée, ils arrivèrent au bosquet sacré.
Là, ils entendirent de la musique et des rires ! Dans les arbres étaient rassemblés plein d'animaux de toutes sortes, d'elfes, de nains et de fées qui chantaient et dansaient !
S'approchant au plus près, Louka découvrit avec surprise que la Déesse était là, souriante et qu'elle avait un nourrisson dans les bras !
- "Alors tu vois, Louka" lui dit un des elfes... "Oui, le Dieu est mort aujourd'hui, mais en ce jour de solstice la Déesse vient de le mettre au monde à nouveau, pour la nouvelle roue ! Pour l'instant il ne brille pas très fort encore, mais plus les jours vont passer, plus il sera fort, et la lumière reviendra de plus en plus longtemps et de plus en plus forte et chaude... et c'est ainsi chaque année".
- " Et oui, renchéris l'autre petit être, tu vois Yule, le solstice d'hiver, ce n'est pas une fête triste ...bien au contraire ... nous fêtons la naissance de Bélénos et le retour de la lumière !!
Louka , rassuré et heureux, se mit à chanter et danser avec les autres ...
-" ♫♫♪ vive le solstice, vive la Déesse et le dieu Bélénos ... ♪♪♫♫♪"
Et il n'eut plus jamais peur que la lumière disparaisse...
