Finalmente vi posso parlare del mio nuovo amore: si chiama Zumba, si pratica in palestra e mi fa davvero stare bene.

Lo Zumba fitness è nato negli anni Novanta ed ha avuto subito un successo mondiale.
Di cosa si tratta?
È un sistema di allenamento che mescola aerobica e balli caraibici.
Nella mia palestra l’istruttore mixa il tutto con degli esercizi mirati a rassodare la muscolatura utilizzando dei pesi, quindi mi piace ancora di più!
Risultato? Mi alleno divertendomi e sorridendo dal primo minuto all’ultimo.
Praticando il corso di Zumba si può dimagrire e tonificare i muscoli a ritmo di musica latina, ma è anche utilissimo per il nostro benessere e per la nostra linea!
Quanto fa dimagrire questo corso?Zumba non è altro che una danza della durata di circa 60 minuti che incorpora elementi di salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton e hip-hop.Il livello di intensità è molto variabile: dipende dal tipo di allenamento, ma soprattutto dalla frequenza che si sceglie per praticarlo. Fare una seduta al mese, certamente fa dimagrire molto meno di una volta alla settimana o addirittura di 3 sedute a settimana.
Mediamente ogni lezione (fatta bene) fa bruciare in un’ora dalle 400 alle 600 calorie.
Quali sono i benefici?I benefici per il corpo derivano dal fatto che la Zumba è un movimento cardio e aerobico che riguarda tutto il corpo ma fatto in maniera moderata, senza sforzi eccessivi. I benefici dunque riguardano la perdita di peso perché l’allenamento aerobico permette di bruciare grassi senza pericoli, ma fa bene anche al cuore perché stimola il muscolo cardiaco, anche in questo caso senza i rischi di sforzi eccessivi.
Ma fa bene anche ai muscoli, compresi quelli che per chi fa vita sedentaria restano tante ore immobili come quelli del collo, della testa o del busto, ed anche alle giunture visto che le caviglie e le ginocchia vengono stimolate al movimento.
In sostanza si muove tutto il corpo, si esercita ogni centimetro, e non ci si accorge di farlo.
