I saw a photo recently of a flower frozen in water. I put the petal in a paper cup of water have placed it outside to freeze for the night and tomorrow we'll see the results.
iPhone 4S + Snapseed + PicFX + Filterstorm + Dynamic Light. I shot this picture near the summit of Enchanted Rock. I was drawn to the windblown shape of this tree, and the packs and walking stick hanging from it. It was a frustrating place to shoot because the view is so vast and there is no way to capture it all in one photo. Since I couldn't recreate the feeling of being there in one frame, I decided to add some drama back into the photo through color and texture.
Okay, now I'm done playing with this. Added another layer of grit and grime over the top of it all, and played with the tones a little more.
