Facing the road, to the south I believe. Ray said he had a very lush green crop of mustard here last year and everyone asked what it was. Planted as green fertilizer/bioremediation for road runoff.
You can see the south side of the house. There is a persimmon planted above the retaining wall. It seems to be doing fine but will see this year. The soil is ok, not great, but should be well drained.
