« Pebbles » signifie Galets en français. « Les Galets » (The Pebbles) désignent un ensemble d’anciennes installations de pêche situé dans le petit village de Natashquan sur la côte Nord du fleuve St-Laurent au Québec. C’est la troisième image que je consacre à cet endroit qui a été témoin de la vie simple mais difficile des pêcheurs de Natashquan. Leur histoire qui m’a profondément ému. (Patrice)

Les Galets (The Pebbles in french) designate a set of old fishing facilities located in Natashquan, a little village settled on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River in Quebec. Les Galets have witnessed the simple, but difficult life of the fishermen of Natashquan. Their story moved me deeply. (Patrice)

Pebbles on the beach at Parton near Whitehaven, Cumbria. Parton is one of the best areas of coastline in Cumbria that gives you the chance to work at your long exposure seascapes. These large pebbles kindly positioned by the tide rushing in.

Indian Chameleon (Chameleo zeylanicus) on a granite block.
The first thing that struck me was that this guy looks like a 'mosaic' of tiny colored pebbles - hence the caption : )

Another love / TOM ODELL
I wanna take you somewhere so you know I care
But it's so cold and I don't know where
I brought you daffodils in a pretty string
But they won't flower like they did last spring
And I wanna kiss you, make you feel alright
I'm just so tired to share my nights
I wanna cry and I wanna love
But all my tears have been used up
....
A beautiful little beach in the bloody forelands in County Donegal, Ireland covered by these huge pebble rocks.
I took the picture just after sundown and I used a gnd2 filter which I think captured a real serene moment in a truly captivating place.

Thank you
Pebbles at St Ninian's Cave near Whithorn, Dumfries & Galloway. This was really just meant to be a trial run at this location to check out the light etc, but i liked it so much, so used it.

A little early on the upload, but I have a busy week ahead!
I acquired a new Lee Big Stopper and ball head last week, so went down to Lyme Regis to try them out yesterday. I have to admit I'm instantly impressed with the stopper, I could recompose much quicker and the no more screwing in ND110's.
I must say though, mine has a much stronger blue cast than some of the earlier ones but it comes out in NX2. I left a little of the cast in as I liked the mood it gave.

IF YOU FAV MY PHOTO, OR GIVE IT AN AWARD (PLEASE NO IMAGES), PLEASE TAKE AN EXTRA FEW SECONDS TO ADD YOUR PERSONAL THOUGHTS TO YOUR COMMENT, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

Had another visit to Flamborough. This time just me and the dog! 1st proper chance for a spin in the new car which was great. Totally different this week. The tide was out and at it rained a fair bit! Got about 20 mins of decent light and this was one of the shot's I got in that decent spell. Was a great morning out!
Pebbles is a birthday gift I bought for myself. She is customed by our so talented Nancy. She is so adorable that I can't take my eyes off her.
Today after I just finished two beary hats that ordered by a customer, I ask Pebbles and Hazelnut to be my little models. This is the first time for Pebbles to be a model so she is a bit nervous but she did a great job. Let us applause the two lovely sisters, Pebbles and Hazulnut!

Keeping photography simple, just a not so long exposure, and cropped 6:7. My friend was saying that he keeps coming here with me and there wasn't any good weather (e.g. a fiery sunrise). Sometimes, the peace and quiet sunrise can be as just as good. ;-)
Penmon lighthouse viewed from across the vast colourful pebbled beach on Anglesey in Wales. There are so many things to photograph here, an amazing place.
