My favorite treat in the whole wide world is ice cream. I adore ice cream. My second favorite treat is candy, especially anything with peanut butter in it. So when you combine my two favorites in one treat? Heaven, bliss, nirvana!!! This is Creamy Creations Peanut Butter Cup ice cream and it is so rich, decadent, and sweet that my mouth waters simply looking at this photo. I got this for my mom over the weekend and she was kind enough to share a scoop for my image... and for my tummy!
New Braunfels peeps... there is a new ice cream shop open with homemade, to-die-for, ice cream located near Creekside. It's called Tipsy Cow and half of the flavors have alcohol. The Bailey's Salted Caramel gives me shivers on the side of my face. It's sooooo good.
Peanutbuttercup had a bath, now she's having green pepper while drying.

We have just enjoyed some frankincense. Frankincense is used in many Christian churches including the Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and Catholic churches. According to the gospel of Matthew 2:11, gold, frankincense, and myrrh were among the gifts to Jesus by the biblical magi "from out of the East." The Judaic, Christian and Islamic faiths have all used frankincense mixed with oils to anoint newborn infants, initiates, and members entering into new phases of their spiritual lives.
There was a theory, that the smoke of frankincense also contains some THC (the main psychoactive substance in cannabis), which is the result of a reaction of the substances verbenol and olivetol, which are both contained in frankincense. This theory could not be proved. To be honest, I really don't care... Hehehe... does somebody have peanutbuttercups?
While it is still Monday (barely), I so want to participate in this week's "weekly photo challenge" because from the moment I read "have fun with all kinds of cups" my first thought (perhaps sadly) was to do either "cup" cakes or Reese's peanut butter "cups"...two of my favorites. While I am normally a "glass have full" person, a cup of these is a totally different story...half empty only because I ate the other half and am well on my way to eating the other half. To make it challenging I wanted to give it a 60's magazine advertisement feel. Bottom line, I loved the wonderful creativity Pam uses in choosing our weekly challenges and the fun that we all seem to have with them. Thank you, Pam.

I love Cadbury mini eggs, but the ones I stock up on before the easter season is over are Reese's. In my humble opinion, these are the optimal form of peanut butter cup - the ratio of PB to chocolate is perfect, they're always perfectly fresh and there's no stupid paper wrapping clogging things up.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have long been our family's hand-out for Halloween trick-or-treaters, but in recent years, the number of kids coming to our door has dropped drastically.
That used to make me sad - until I realized we still had to buy Reese's just in case. And if the kids don't show up . . . well, someone has to eat them!!

Peanut butter cheesecake squares with reeses' peanut butter cups, made for the end of semester party/recognition ceremony at my college where I work.
We are clinging to our last bit of summer before school starts and made some of these delicious peanut butter cup s'mores tonight. They are so good!
Fresh baked cookies cooling off before they are packed up and brought to work for a bake exchange with co-workers. I had to bake 6 dozen cookies, I can't wait to see what I get in return.
