I caught the sun just gently rolling across the Rye the other morning. Within about 5 minutes after taking this, the sun had disappeared.
Gosh, I've just heard they have found a body this morning in a wooded area of the park and police and forenscis are on the scene. The weird thing is that I was only thinking on Sunday about finding bodies in the woods. and how I would react if I stumbled across one.
Rudyard Kipling may have called them; "flannelled fools", but the cricket players in the local park on a Saturday afternoon don't care what they're called. Enjoyment is their aim and to beat the opposing team!

The War Memorial Park is the largest and most popular park in town. Built around the Mangahoe Stream, the park includes a duck pond, fountain, playground, paved walks, open spaces for picnicking and events, and a "sunken cross" memorial feature.

schoenbrunn park is enormous and when you realize some time ago all this area was for emperors' use exclusively, you start being a socialist.
Central Park is a wonderful place to visit. This is one of my favorite places in the park. The American Elm trees here are over 100 years old and some how managed to survive despite the threat of Dutch Elm Disease.

Gulhane Park is the oldest and one of the most expansive public parks in Istanbul. As we strolled through the park, the sun was setting, the birds were chirping... just a beautiful autumn day I will remember for a long time to come. I hope to visit Istanbul again some day. Hopefully soon.
I am in Bangalore for work. Jet lag gets up early and I like getting out of the hotel bubble into the city.
