. . district of Naklua, Bangkok at the mouth of the Chao Phraya river. An interesting little village, where every property is built on stilts and even the road is raised about 1 meter above the ground. Then we realised that the ground was the sea bed! The tide was out! But a colourful morning it was.

Situated on some of the highest ground in Auckland City,(once a Maori Pa site),Pah Homestead is regarded as one our best preserved early homes in NZ. Completed in 1879,it was purchased by our Auckland City Council in 2002,extensively restored,and opened to the public in 2010,and now serves as an art centre.
