working with SketchUp to make 3d models for the RepRap printer as a part of the practical 3d printing workshop: oshug.org/event/oshcamp

Working my way through developing some hacks using the kits oomlout.co.uk donated to oshug.org/event/oshcamp and putting them up on solderpad.com. This is a "hello world" of 555 timers.

A 555 Timer, a capacitor, a resistor to make an LED breath in and out. It's a bit squished after being in my rucksack. This project is documented on SolderPad.

Al Wood aka @folknology showed us the open motion controller he's developed with the Thames Valley RepRap Group, a collaborative effort with 30 people using SolderPad to share

.. with one of the fabulous kits donated by oomlout.co.uk

for our session we worked on the story of breadboarding a project using kits donated by oomlout.co.uk, documenting them in an EDA tool (Eagel, KiCad, DesignSparkPCB or Fritzing) and uploading them to solderpad.com oshug.org/event/oshcamp

Andy's POV using 3 LED which when waved from side to side says "HI" made using the kits donated by oomlout.co.uk

A taste of the noisy atmosphere at oshug.org/event/oshcamp, finishing with Andy's POV saying "Hi!" and me gushing "brilliant!".
