Manx electric tramcar No. 2 sat outside Ramsey shed on a David Williams charter 17/4/15. There are plans for Ramsey shed to be knocked down later this year due to it being unsafe.
Ramsey is a small market town in Cambridgeshire. It developed around a Benedictene Monastery, Ramsey Abbey. The remains are now part of the town's secondary school.

Alexander Ramsey served as both the first governor of the Minnesota Territory and the second governor of the state. Construction on the home began in 1868. The family lived in the home until the granddaughters, who never married, died in 1959 and 1964. They left the house and all its contents to the Minnesota Historical Society, founded in part by their grandfather in 1849.
One of the toughest hikes I have done in the Smokies--- uphill continuously for 4 miles, rising nearly 2400 ft over that time, then fight gravity downhill all the way back again . Yet the falls themselves are worth the trip, if you can do it.
Ramsey Cascades is the tallest waterfall in the park, as well as one of the most spectacular. Water drops 100 feet over rock outcroppings and collects in a small pool where numerous salamanders are often found.
Saw a blogpost today about the falls, and was inspired to dig back into the archives for this one. Enjoy.
