After a couple sharp-eyed friends commented on my horizon, I used the grid overlay in PS to straighten my horizon and then recrop. Even using the grid, I'm still not certain I have it spot-on! But I do appreciate the critique and the opportunity to learn and improve!
This is an image I had not processed due to the thought it didn't have much pizazz to pull out and make it interesti
ng. It was a RAW image that was overexposed in the bracket series (I think) and the sky was blown out, but the foreground had some possibilities. Normally, I start my processing from the image that appears to be what I like; however, I have been reading posts about using overexposed images and using the histogram as a guide tool. I did some initial adjustments as I opened the raw image in PS, then used Topaz Clarity, then Denoise, the Adjust to end up with this. I also typically would likely apply a ND to bottom portion of image to lessen the brightness of the foilage. This has been such a long, snowy winter for me in Wisconsin, that I purposely looked for an image that would make me feel warmer. :) Any and all comments and feedback are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
