My Texture

Thanks for viewing and commenting everyone..

Oh my dear flickr friends~thank you so much for your most wonderful comments and invitations! Everyday making art is a gift ~ I give it away and get back the greatest pleasure from all of you. Thank you again!! xoxoxox

3 layer picture, Original taken

in Italy, just south of Rome where I lived fro 10 years.

Under these trees grew very large Porcini mushrooms.

The current USA price is $16.75 a lb.

I use to get them all the time, especially in the fall and winter months.

This area is cool in the summertime and not ever really cold in

the winter time. Saw snow only one time in the 10 years that I lieved here

Have a good week, everyone out there in "Flicker Land"

where ever you are.

Comments and invites are

certainly appreciated.

Thanks for your visit.

Mist evaporating from the lake softened the glassy reflections on this lovely morning...I wish I lived across from this view! (not today...more form the archives)...for Michael who is coming to Nova Scotia in October. On Explore July 22/o8 @ 162 (still there Aug. 17 at #498 says Scout) (Taken in October 2007)

October Morning, just after high tide at Parton near Whitehaven on the Cumbrian coast. I used a Lee big stopper and Lee Hard 0.6 for the sky.

I’m sorry that I am not able to post quickly and am also behind with comments. A lightning storm several weeks ago (landing about 10 feet away) cooked our shared antenna and baked the modem as well. Since, the signal is poor, cuts off about every 10 minutes and is SLOOOWWW. No news when Carlos Slim (the owner of our ONLY internet provider service) will stop partying with Gina Lolabridgida and fix it. Thanks for your patience.

If you would like to read more about our deadly lightning strikes, here's a link to a recent article written by a friend, Tim Johnson McClatchy news:

Here's a dreamy view of these October flowers. I hope you are all enjoying the weekend. I wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday!

Early morning mist

Not my style, ok, but i want to show you Miss October! This photo will appear in the calendar 2013 of our local group and it portrays a superb estate in Brisighella (here: Villa Ginanni Fantuzzi).

I impressed myself and got up early on Sunday morning and went looking for morning mist on the lakes. It had been hot and windy last week and we finally had our first really cool, calm night on Saturday. I was right..lots of lake fog everywhere.

Have a Happy & Safe Halloween !!
