Late winter afternoon at Sjusjøen, Norway

Fjords in Finnmark, Norway

Autumn at Møsvatn, Telemark, Norway.

We flew into Bergen, Norway, rented a car, and drove up towards Sognefjorden. We stopped along the way for fuel and photos, and this was from one of the spots.

Honnsrøve platteau, 900m, in the end of septembre my first close encounter with snow during this trip. The landscape had both autumn as winter elements in it, absolutely stunning!

Tromsø (Norwegian pronunciation: [ˈtrʊmsø] is a city and municipality in Troms county, Norway.

Tromsø is a city and municipality of 72,066 inhabitants in the county of Troms in Northern Norway. It is the largest urban area in Northern Norway and the second largest north of the Arctic Circle in Sápmi (following Murmansk). Most of Tromsø, including the city centre, is located on the island of Tromsøya, 350 kilometres (217 mi) north of the Arctic Circle. Substantial parts of the urban area are also situated on the mainland to the east, and on parts of Kvaløya a large island to the west. Tromsøya is connected to the mainland by the Tromsø Bridge and the Tromsøysund Tunnel, and to the island of Kvaløya by the Sandnessund Bridge. The city is warmer than most other places located on the same latitude, due to the warming effect of the Gulf Stream.

The city centre of Tromsø contains the highest number of old wooden houses in Northern Norway, the oldest house dating from 1789. The Arctic Cathedral, a modern church from 1965, is probably the most famous landmark in Tromsø. The city is a cultural centre for its region, with several festivals taking place in the summer. Some of Norway's best-known musicians, Torbjørn Brundtland and Svein Berge of the electronica duo Röyksopp and Lene Marlin grew up and started their careers in Tromsø.

Jostedalsbreen National park, which has Europes mainlands biggest glacier with the same name. There is several glacier arms, I visited Briksdalsbreen and Brenndalsbreen

The city of Bergen was founded in 1070. In 1360 a Kontor of the Hanseatic League was established there, and as the town developed into an important trading centre, the wharfs were improved. The administrative buildings of Bryggen housed clerks from many areas, especially Germany. The main trade was dried cod from Northern Norway in return for cereals from mainland Europe.

The oldest part of Bergen, which is called Bryggen (Norwegian, "The Wharf" ), also known as Tyskebryggen ; ("the German Wharf") is a series of Hanseatic commercial buildings lining the eastern side of the fjord coming into Bergen, Norway.

Bryggen was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1979.
