Screen shot of the former Aho Museum on the NMC Campus in SL. The museum was iconic for its time, and a similar image still appears in the official press kit for Linden Lab.

In early 2008, the Aho was replaced with a new building that was much more functional than the original.

Under the curation of Tayzia Abattoir, the Aho Museum has grown to be the premier art collection in Second Life.

DanCoyote Antonelli was crafting an impressively scaled piece of art- using an entire sim slotted for the NMC Campus expansion as a temporary canvas. His characteristic 6-fingered hand can best be seen from rather far away. It will be gone after midnight tonight.

Tonight, DanCoyote Antonelli created another, completely different landscape sized art that field NMC 3, an entire SL sim. Hard to describe in words, it is a glacial-like form with shimmering form, and vibrant colors. The exploration seemed endless flying in and out of narrow canyons. And it will be gone in a few hours.
