This Stop the Violence: Church Flyer Template is customized for special events that need a modern look. This design can also be used for multiple purposes.

Our first 'magazine-style' front. We'll be doing occasional ones of these when the content warrants it. Personally, I'd have gone for bigger, brasher coverlines in our house sans-serif font (Akzidenz Grotesk) rather than the more 'trad' Clarendon -- but maybe that's just me.

Sorry for the cutting on the left edge; they only have a PDF available on their website, and this was the way to provide the best resolution.

I really must get round to posting photos up here again sometime... Anyway. This week's issue goes back to having the photo on the right, which to me seems a more balanced place to have it, as opposed to last week's, which I felt was a bit out of kilter. Can't put my finger on why that should be, though...

Nice action photo for the front page this week. We should do more of those.

You may already be familiar with this but just in case you don't know about it, this is the Newseum. The site has over 500 newspaper front pages from around the world updated daily. All are available to download as large PDFs.

I think using dark green as the accent colour really works here. Not that the red and purple os previous weeks didn't -- I just like the colour combination.

I do have a slight reservation that the structure of the front page isn't really changing from week to week. However, next week's is radically different...

Starting to get into our stride now. Shame that all the popup heads at the top of the page are in matching dark suits, though...

I think Mike McShane our first new issue is supposed to be a compliment.

The first issue of the new-look Stage. Not perfect -- some things have been tidied up since -- but it makes the bold statement we were hoping for, I think.
