Happy Cliché Saturday!
follow me here:
Neil from a old portrait I made of him in 2011, I made this linocut today. It is a one block linocut with black ink. The orange shade isn't ink, but a collage of free-acid Canson mi-teintes paper using the technique of collage without liquid adhesives I have used in the past to produce Magdalena's portrait here: www.flickr.com/photos/margaperez/5205973049/in/set-721576...
Pen and ink over a very very lightly etched sugar-lift aquatint (like 25 seconds).
Neil's Harbour is a small fishing village in northern Cape Breton Island, in Nova Scotia, Canada. what a feast of things to photograph in this beautiful area.
night photography study ,I first saw this tree in Neils stream, i ask Neil the location of the tree so here is a night time shot of Neils tree .
This was a fig that I done as a Christmas present, I just didn't get a chance to upload until now.
It's not the cleanest fig you'll ever see and I'm sure that a few people will say that it doesn't look like Lego, but I really like the way in turned out and I actually really want one myself now ; )
Most of the fig was sculpted from epoxy putty, with the backpack made from styrene and the tubes from Fimo. I had to make a custom moon surface base for this one too!
Hope you all like it!
Then it stood up, and walked away, back through the Hall, the way it had come
