It was daylight but the water was deep blue so I went for contrast. This does have an added lens flare, not a planet or anything extraterrestrial.

A pattern that I never would have noticed if another member of Exposure.Detroit hasn't shot it (and shot it better, lol!)

Two more from an epic experience at Ho'okena Beach. Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins, Stenella longirostris, Kona Coast, Big Island, Hawaii, Pacific Ocean.

At depth with ambient light color goes fast so I went for the contrast.

Naia at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey on August 14, 2005 after a show comes pool side to say hello in her own squeaky way. Naia was born June 23, 1996 at another location. Every year Six Flags Great Adventure would "rent" dolphins for the spring/summer season from a park in Mississippi called Marine Life Oceanarium. During hurrican Katrina the park where she came from was destroyed and her stay in New Jersey was longer then expected. Naia is one of the 16 "Katrina Dolphins". While some were rented out to parks others were washed out into the gulf when the Oceanarium was destroyed. They were rescued & all 16 surviving dolphins reunited & sent permantly to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

One more from Leina as she communes with the dolphin.

Strobist: SB900 in 24" Ezybox camera left. Bare SB900 camera right. Fired via Cybersync and slave. Added modest glow in ps. Otherwise untouched. Oh yeah. Full CTO on both.
