Subway in Murrieta at Los Alamos and Hancock is not only open 24 Hours but they now deliver! First time I've seen a Subway do deliveries like a Domino's or another pizzeria, that's very interesting, I only know of Subway, of course doing catering but this is certainly a first.

So as part of Stater Brothers market 80th anniversary, all stores feature decals with the town's name, I only went to the US Bank branch inside so I couldn't take a lot more photos but this was our local decal, I took another photo of the banner outside the store but it came out too blurry. 😔

Finally, fiVe BEL°W is now open!!! This is the 14th store in the chain in California and the first in our area with Aliso Viejo, Anaheim, Compton, Fontana, Hawthorne, Lancaster, Montebello, Pico Rivera, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, San Dimas, South Fontana and South Gate being the other locations in California!

BETRAYAL!!! RadioShack IS closing their Cal Oaks Plaza location!!! There was NO announcement online or in their press release that this location was slated to close so this comes as a hard punch to the City of Murrieta!

The store is now 10% to 50% off, I'll try and come back to take photos once the sales get better.

Marshalls will be opening a new location in Murrieta at the former Ralphs building at the Murrieta Town Center, unsure if the store will be split in 2 or if it will become a Marshalls superstore!

This store will FINALLY bring Marshalls to Murrieta as a Marshalls was originally going to be built at The Orchard at Stone Creek shopping center (SuperTarget center) but that store alongside a cinema was cancelled.

Burger King restaurant in Murrieta, CA; by the looks of both the interior and exterior this must be a 90's built location, still; it serves the town well.

Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, Periwinkle and White are the colors of the 90's!

This location is across the town's Target and an Albertson's and close to Dairy Queen so the town has The King and Queen of fast food!

Until recently this Comfort Inn was the town's only hotel (Temecula has all the hotels anyway.) but now a pair of Marriott owned hotels on Madison Avenue (Courtyard and Residence Inn) and a Hampton Inn in Hancock are being built so Murrieta will have choices!

RadioShack Murrieta is slowly closing, at the same time; in the same center, San Diego Navy Federal Union will open in half of the former Fashion Bug with the other portion now open as Alan's bike shop, I will take pictures once both The Shack closes and something else reopens.

Dunkin' Donuts of Murrieta as seen from the Carl's Jr. Drive Thru, progress has been swift in building this new location, the roof is in, the inside layout framed and work is coming along!

Murrieta, CA

Really like this logo; I'm looking for one in better shape to add to my collection.

This little guy was sitting on my front sidewalk when I got home from work today. He was so tiny; no more than an inch or two long.

He let me lie down right next to him. I thought he was unable to fly, but he flew away right after I took this photograph.

I'm hoping he just got stunned and will recover.

This location still has a 90's look to it but I like it, only thing that is new is the digital menu board.

Lowes Kohl's Plaza in Murrieta, California, other businesses include Farmer Boys and a future Panera Bread bakery.

Lowes Home Improvement center of Murrieta is attached to Kohl's department store to the right.

Until 1997; this Ralph's on Murrieta Town Center and its twin store operated as Hughes Markets, then they became Ralph's with the merger and now they are closed, the California Oaks branch will become Barons while this remains vacant for now...

Beneath the big old red Ralphs oval sign that was being taken down, the labelscar for Hughes was waiting to be unleashed...

Still in my walker and dragging myself, I had to go to Best Buy to have my computer fixed because it was not charging, I feared it was the battery but thankfully it was the charger, it no longer worked so had to get a new one but at least it works now!

A fire truck was parked outside Taco Bell in Murrieta's Madison Avenue, it doesn't look like an emergency so I guess the firefighters are having lunch today!

California navel oranges are considered by many to be the best oranges in the world for eating out of hand. They have a meaty flesh, their thick rinds are easy to peel, the segments separate easily, and they have no seeds.

Walmart Murrieta is remodeling!

The store is being given a new look and several departments that complement each other are moving together, will update once the store's makeover is finished!

Former Walmart Portrait Studio in Murrieta, CA; apparently this space will be leased to an auto license office.

It was super cold and there was a lot of moisture in the air but that moon came out nice hah.

this was my best capture from a recent lightning storm.

(Whoa, apparently I'm on page 6 of Explore for July 30, 2006... Awesome!)
