The sweetest sounds to mortals given
Are heard in Mother, Home, and Heaven.
William Goldsmith Brown
Honour be to our Mother Earth,
The blessing of the gods upon thee.
Thou give us life and thou taketh it,
For life to go on eternally.
Show me the wonders within this world
‘cause I shall never fail to see
That merriment, grief and life and death
Are altogether bound within thee.

Captured this mother duck with her ducklings at Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve early evening July 2017 so beautiful to see.
Humanity is reaching its breaking point,
One day human beings will be extinct,
Maybe one day, we'll all stop and think
How man-kind is killing eachother, and mother nature,
Theres got to be a stop to this diease with a natural cure.
But, humans are too self envoloved,
To ever look for the real truth to life's mystery, waiting to be solved.
All we care about is money, technology, and world dominating,
But, it killing our own kind,
And, we don't know it, but, were all doing the murdering.
Who is it? dying before our eyes?
Our planet we live on mother earth, don't you hear her cries?
She's polluted, and her natural beauty is getting more un-natural by the day,
Pretty soon, we're gonna use her all up, then she'll die, I hate to say.
She dosent need humans abuse,
We were put here to use her for good use,
To love, and intertwine,
If we all did this, us, and mother earth, would be just fine.
But, ignore these words, I know my people will do,
Because all we think about is "you, YOU YOU.."
Mother nature is our gift, not our property,
We join together as one, and enjoy what we got,
Not the next expensive thing, that can be bought. So, heres my apology to mother earth,
I'm sorry for polluting your air, oceans, lands, animals, everything that makes earth who she is,
Its the things we have naturally, not the show-bizz.
I'm sorry, I hope I can be forgiven,
Oh, and thank you, for giving us stuck up people a place to live in...

“I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.”
“I love you every day. And now I will miss you every day.”

Wishing everyone a happy weekend early as I will be away for the next couple of days..
Take care my friends :-)
Before you were conceived, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. Before you were here an hour, I would die for you. This is the miracle of Mother's Love.
Happy Mother's Day to all you moms. May your day be extra special.

Happy Mothers Day to all of the mothers celebrating today.
My mother had a great deal of trouble with me, but I think she enjoyed it.
- Mark Twain
My grandfather arrived at Ellis Island from Italy in 1904. Whenever I read Emma Lazarus' poem, The New Colossus, I am always moved.
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
MOTHER OF EXILES. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Mother Nature (sometimes known as Mother Earth or the Earth-Mother) is a common personification of nature that focuses on the life-giving and nurturing aspects of nature by embodying it in the form of the mother.
A TRIBUTE TO MOTHERS IN THEIR DAY. Thousand words in one single photo. This image represent millions of loving mothers who are suffering so much because of wars, hate, fanaticism, terrorism, despotism, greediness, blind nationalism, ignorance, racism, intolerance, hunger, and lack of medical attention. God bless them.

One of the largest of Britain's so-called 'micro-moths'; in fact it is larger than many of the 'macro-moths'
The moth rests with all four wings on display, which show a colourful rainbow-like lustre in certain lighting conditions, as the English name suggests.
Common throughout most of Britain, the adults fly from dusk onwards, and are often attracted to light.
The larvae feed on nettle (Urtica dioica), in a rolled-up leaf. www.ukmoths.org.uk/species/pleuroptya-ruralis
I think this is the mother of the armies of assassin bugs that we have been seeing around the front porch! I moved her way out in the woods and hopefully we won't be seeing any more babies.
Adult Assassin Bug
From the internet:
The Wheel bug is a type of Assassin bug. Assassin bugs earn their name by surprising their prey and viciously attacking it. They lie in wait on flowers or in tree bark and pounce on unsuspecting victims. Using their front legs, they pin the victim down while stabbing it to death with a beak that is usually tucked into a groove on their 'chest'. At times Wheel Bugs make squeaking-type noises by rasping this beak on the ridges of the groove. Assassin bugs WILL bite people if handled carelessly and the bite is reported to be somewhat excruciating.
Females lay bottle-shaped eggs in clusters on twigs and other parts of the plant. The newly hatched larvae of the wheel bug have a black line running between two red sides on their abdomen.
The nymph of the Wheel bug also appears very different from the adult form. It looks like a spider, but does not have 8 legs. The red and black markings on the abdomen are still visible. The abdomen is curved upward, always appearing to be on guard and ready to attack.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies!
...Mother's Day is especially hard when Mom has passed away. I remember being a little girl and picking wild flowers for my mom on Mother's Day. I miss her every day!
Nice in LightBox,
Blacklip Mother of Pearl or Pinctada Margaritifera is probably one of the most exclusive pearls in demand in todays knife and instrument market. It comes from small shells found in French Polynesia around Tahiti and its Archipelagos. Just under the exterior bark of the shell is where the real beauty of the Blacklip shell lies.
