Oh yeah. Got you there didn´t I... ;)

I´m in my 21th week but haven´t really gotten to that i´m-feeling-beautiful-and-pregnant-state. Yet. Feeling fine though as I did with the last one - you know the one who looks like Gollum in this pic although he was in the brightest of moods. *LOL* (he was playing hide-and-seek with the camera)

Do you know what´s been on my mind all day? A year TWO of the 365-project! I´m doubtful though if I´ll have the engagement in a couple of weeks but I´m very happy that the feeling for photography is growing on me again. I´ve missed the love for and satisfaction of it the last couple of months.

*feeling full of excitement*

Oh well. Now it´s pizza time! Mine reeks of garlic - yum!

{LOVE is my chosen word for the group Shutter Sisters One Word Project.}

This might just be one of my all time favorite polaroid shots, ever.

it is a little darker in real life, but the moment, oh the moment...

Such a busy weekend! My friend Sara has made this beautiful light tower in her new apartment - probably 9 of these lanterns strung on a curtain rod leaning gently in the corner of the room, casting this amazing light through the room. So freaking clever!

Today, before the rains came back, we managed to play in the leaves. I had to bribe them with chocolate to get them back home for naps (if they take them).

Jun 3/11 my friend keeps urban chickens and he gifted me with their eggs this week. this is what real eggs actually look like. they're not all huge and bleached white - some are creme, off-white, some darker brown, others a distinct blue tone. they are so dang beautiful, i'm not sure i can bring myself to eat them.

but i will...

Thank you to www dot mortalmuses dot com for featuring this photo in their mosaic of a blogpost entitled mosaic muse: fresh on January 6, 2012. Once again, very flattered and honoured to have one of my photos featured on this amazing photog blog compiled by 9 female photographers across Europe and the U.S. It's wonderful. Apparently I am not allowed to link to this blog in flickr for some reason so hopefully you can find the blog post by digging for the date it was posted. And do check out all their posts - it's an amazing blog!

Preschool began today and they were ready ... and so was I!

afternoon, it's windy and a little cold out there for the first day of spring. we are snuggling and playing angry birds this afternoon.

Pucker up Buttercup!

This smooch is headed your way to say ... Happy Valentine's Day!

Seriously, I am so grateful for the amazing friendships I have made here. You all do so much -- bolstering my ego, lifting me up on a hard day, inspiring me, pushing me, and participating in the act of creation. It means so much more than you could ever know. At a time in my life where building friendships carries more meaning, these relationships feed my soul. Hoping you find lots of love in your day today, and every day.

A cup (or two... three?) of coffee is certainly required to get me up and running in the morning. The smell lingers as I get a few pages read before heading into work.

picture winter day 05

My parents came over and we went riding to see the progress of the clearing we've been doing in preperation for putting up a high fence.

I brought my camera in hopes of seeing something to photograph for the mortal muses group. The theme this week is "motion and movement".

I soon discovered that the best opportunity for a photo can actually be right behind me. I looked back to see this shot of my mom and dad with all the dust flying behind them, and without being promted my mother threw her hands up in the air which made for the perfect shot to show "motion and movement".

Plan has changed. Plumber came today. And left again without plumbing. To get the floor waterproof first we need to dig out a lot more clay. Then put drainage and sand in. And then it's time for pipes and stuff. Last is putting a concrete floor on top. I lost my courage today. @mahieu kept on digging. Half of the layer of clay is out now. #ghd2224 #mylifeinpolaroid #365polaroid #colorprotection #orangesurprisesx70 #impossibleproject #mortalmuses

We went snowshoeing in a local park today - didn't get a chance to snap a "getting ready" shot, so I'll have to settle for an action shot. Taken with my BRAND NEW 85mm f1.8. I think I'm in love! Also - had to do a little extra negative space today. Thanks for the reminder!

So nice when then cooperate. Of course it only lasts so long.

They decided to go for a "drive."
