Frühnebel in den "Heißen Höhlen"

I love catching the first light of a sunrise as it hits the morning fog over a river during the autumn season. This shows Sebec River in Sebec, Maine, part of Piscataquis County.

Hard to imagine that it was a month ago when I caught these shots and I don't think that we have had a similar morning since, though it's entirely possible that I might have still been in bed and missed one - lol.

This is the smaller lake (Kingfisher Lake they now call it) at Harrold-Odell Country Park.

Five ducks on a misty September morning. Taken from the lake shore at Penny Rock Wood.

This is the Broekmolen at the Natura2000 area 'Donkse laagte'. Great place to photograph some typical dutch landscapes and also some very nice waterfowl.

Unfortunately the morningmist was only far away, and not right here at the mill.

Have a nice day everyone!

The morning mist over an autumn stream can be magical during an early sunrise as in this image taken on the Sebec River in Sebec, Maine.

Have a wonderful week ahead everyone :-)

Thanks for taking the time to make a comment, I really appreciate it and will always try to reciprocate with a visit back to your stream.

The title reflects the part of Valley Forge park that is along the 2nd mile of it's 5 mile loop. If you run or walk in the park it should be a familiar scene.
