I make no apologies for yet another misty shot but this for me is in my top 10 of all time, taken a few years ago now but only just got round to editing it and this was the result, I was so taken with it i had to post it straight away, Fantastic moody atmosphere and I just love those misty winter colours, I have posted something similar to this, but I prefer this one!

The only time I ever find the pastel sky is on a cold COLD day at a high altitude. It is one of my favorite of nature's color schemes!

Thank you for your kind visits,

Morning light at the city of Ghent

I have rehearsal this evening so I am posting a bit early. I saw dew on the plants the other day and went to tell my good friend Sony.

Howse Peak and Mt. Chephren reflected in Lower Waterfowl Lake inlet.

Thank you all very much!!!!

Here is one of my favourites out of this series, all I did to this was to add contrast to the colours and this is the result.

...another misty summer morning ...close to the village "Bubach an der Naab"

Again the same bridge of the previous photo, with a runner making his morning stretch. I do admire those who wake up early to exercise. Or to take photos... which I rarely do.

I wasn't going to post today. I haven't been feeling well & I didn't have anything new to post. Well, it was too hard to resist the lure of Bokeh Wednesday, so I dragged my butt outside & took some shots of the dew. My new lens really does open up a whole new world to me. This tiny blade of grass was dripping with dew & I loved how it was twisted & curled. HBW!

St Stephen's Green, Dublin, on an October morning. It would have been nice if someone had been sitting on the bench in the background, but it was wet from the previous night's rain.

The Green was first established as a private park in 1664 and access restricted to local residents until 1877. It is now operated by the Office of Public Works.

cold, but beautiful .....I wish you all a lovely new week ;-))

Believe it or not there was only 13 minutes between this shot and 'No Swimming' previously. What a difference in lighting.

Morning Tea Winter

This is the result of a fresh fallen snow, a little extra time and a mad dash for something interesting to shoot. I was looking for a red rose but they are in a little short supply in the middle of winter. My daughter was patient enough to allow me to borrow her special china and dried roses from many of her previous performances. You get to experience the results. I hope you like it.

A beautiful misty morning in the Eden Valley, so many images to be had today. This the first one of the day, a bit of height in the valley allowing me to get some of the sunlight piercing through the trees. One of those times where you just have to stop when confronted with this type of view.
