The money theme seemed appropriate given that in the UK it's Budget Day. To be honest, I've not even read about it, I think we are 'fiddling whilst Rome burns'.
I remember being surprised during Economics class back in school that most money was an illusion, with the banks at the time only needing to keep 12.5% of their balance sheet as a 'reserve asset ratio'. Even that disappeared with the 'Bing Bang' of the late 1980s!
I like the Pink Floyd track because I think it applies as much today on a global scale as it did at a national level back in the 1970s. 'I'm alright Jack keep your hands off my stack' resonates with so many countries being so poor in comparison with Western nations. But what to do? Who wants to have less? How to organise ourselves? Times feel to be changing but to what? I think a few pence here or there in today's budget is likely to be a sideshow.
As always, no offence intended to anyone, just some open thoughts.

Money Monsters are a great way to hold your cash, cards, lip balm....whatever you want to feed them!
I desire to have money. I do not desire to be rich, but to have enough money to support my family. I desire to be successful and live a full comfortable life. I know that money does not make people happy, but it does take away a lot of stress. I am going to be an art teacher, so I know I will not be rolling in money, but I hope I can provide the same life for my family that my parents provided for me. This is a picture of my change bucket. I save every coin I find or get. Money adds up so I think it is smart of me to save as much as I can. I desire to not have to save al of my pennies some day, but if I have to for the rest of my life, that will be okay. I am not rich and this is a big part of my identity. I am a hard worker and prepared to work hard and save my money. I pride myself in being good at budgeting and spending and that is who I am.
