When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.
I love you mommy....
This mother has a rather evil glint in her eye as she sneaks up behind her chicks. Not surprisingly so. She is about to attack one of them! See my next two shots to find out what happens next!
Look mommy look!
There's a duck swiming over our house!
Yes Ramon, very funny..
I had seen her on different occasions, and on this day she
came in without her twin cubs. They were probably nearby
in a tree. They were getting older and didn't need to be
with her all the time. Though with every sound her ears were
alert like in the picture. Image taken in the Keweenaw
Peninsula in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
and her brood...
I watched them a long while and she was such a good Mom, very much in control !

Baby Blue Eyes and her buck fawn on a cold winter afternoon. As I said on my previous upload that I had a lot of Albino photos to share and here are two more. The Albinos will be gone soon to their forest homes and all that I ask is if you wish to see more photos of these rare and amazing creatures please comment and I will keep putting them on.
I made a search on Flickr of everybody's uploads to flickr to see how many other pictures of Albino whitetail deer photos that were there. I was quite surprised to see beside me there are very few pictures of albino deer. I don't really know how luck I am. Here is a link to the Albino whitetail deer search I made on Flickr.
I am having a hard time with her growing so fast and it being our last baby. We went to the Dr. the day before yesterday and she weighs 15 lbs 12 oz, at 3 half months old. I just love how chubby she is. She is so mellow and lights up when she sees me and hears me, it really makes me feel so good, but sad at the same time because it's going faster than I want it to go...
Mommy Moose laying down just across the road ....while baby fed in the front yard ...she had just lifted her head out of the tea bushes and was covered with snow .........
Imagine my surprise, when I looked at the photos I took, and saw this.....She was carrying her babies. I was very excited, I've never seen anything like this before. ....
Thank you everyone, for visiting, faves and your kind comments, I really appreciate it.
Have a wonderful weekend.
For Barb (Barb's World). Besides myself, I don't know anyone who loves the Sandies more. This is my first sighting of a Sandhill chick. Looks like he's been rolling around in the long grass. There was another chick a few feet away with the other parent.
