A few days up in north Norway. Not much time to play around with the camera though ;( Hope you all have a great summer.
Was on a daytrip to the city today. Have to catch the ferry pretty early to get there, so had a nice view of the sunset on the drive. Unfortunatly I didnt have my tripod with me, so didnt get the best pictures.

Location: Norway, Nordland, Mo i Rana
Mo i Rana is a town in the municipality of Rana, Nordland, Norway, located just south of the Arctic Circle.
Havmann (English: The Man from the Sea) is a sculpture made from Arctic granite located in the Ranfjord. It was made in 1995 by the English sculptor Antony Gormley. It's a part of Artscape Nordland, which can be seen from the city centre.
Not a great picture. But with no tripod balancing on the rail of the porch -hanging 5 meters over the ground, on one foot, I think it became cind of fun. I forgot to set the camera, so I had to use the auto landscape with no flash, and offcource the shutter speed became slow as hell. I think I was lucky to get a result that was usable at all.. Even if it it's a little shabby. What was most interesting is that she was in such a hurry to hide behind the mountain that I only got two pics before she was almost gone. And she was so orange.. I don't think I've ever seen her like that.. I took this at 5 AM..
This is the last time I will see her until autumn. Now the summer is knocking and the darkness is gone. It will be bright and light outside 24/7..
Well I will dream of the dark until it comes back in the autumn..
The sun being extremely quiet nowadays, it is a real pleasure to contemplate some beautiful northern lights once more.
It started very quietly, and then exploded in big curtains of green, red and blue.
Unfortunately the show lasted only for a few minutes.
