I will love the light for it shows me the way . Yet I will endure the darknesss for it shows me the stars.
Walking through a misty tree tunnel ......along a peaceful & quiet country road .....on a bright July morning ...
Thanks for the visit ....have a nice weekend :-)
And as always- thanking you for looking at my stream. But I must add that these works are original and final images . And are not to be copied or reproduced in any way or form without permission of the artist. wishing you well with blessings and harmony.
A long day and night yesterday and not much painting time ...
This simple landscape was created wet in wet with Winsor Yellow and Paynes Grey - a combination that seemed to create its own mood and yet matches the weather this morning. I awoke to the tail end of a rain-filled night - though the total rainfall was less than 1/4" ... far less than we need to even put a dent in the drought conditions and dry soil.
The see-saw of temperature fluctuations continues - today we're already in the 60s and by Friday we should be in the 80s! Each day brings more flowers to bloom - but they'd shine a bit brighter if only they had more moisture to nourish them ...
Stay well ...
I thought I would end this week with one my own personal favourite from the series of reflection shot!
The top half is the original and the rest is obviously photoshopped but I feel that this is more the direction that I am heading for, making my photography more of an art form than just a straightforward image, some of you may not care for this type of vision but please let me know what you think?
A photographers dream. Fog! This was another shot taken from my outing at Sherdley Park, St Helens. I opted for another 48 x 20 inch crop. I thought the crop suited and actually aided the composition with this shot.
The reflection is actually added in photoshop!
I thought the fog made an eerie shot...almost got stuck in a ditch pulling over because of all the ice on the ground...
A forested hill behind our city. I was taking my daughter for a driving lesson but when I saw this I had her practice parking for a minute :) If you see cows then you are right.
Thanks very much for visiting.
Des Plaines River in Ryerson Woods this morning.
Taken with my phone.
A Sunday bonus post :)
Ps., I'm still not out of the woods...
It was a very misty morning, Lucky for me there was a little Sunshine through the mist.....
I love these misty mornings,
slowly light comes in, mist disappears,
Wishing you all a beautiful weekend!
