a mirror reflection in the bay of Victoria BC...one at night and one by day...its like you can really see the garden undersea from above the water...how cool...
Mount Sopris reflected in Lower Thomas Lake. Located above the town of Carbondale in the Roaring Fork River valley of central Colorado, this is a great destination for a moderate hike. The popular trail gains 1600 feet of elevation over 3.5 miles as it winds through a mix of wildflower filled meadows and forests of its way to the pair of Thomas Lakes.

Mirror the Mountain
Mount Washington and the Lake of the Clouds in the White Mountain National Forest
As the storm started to peak, I ran down Mt. Monroe to this section of scattered boulders on the lake. In retrospect, I kind of wished I was up the hill on the Monroe Flats, but I suppose this will do. Soon after, the aurora started to fade as the moon peaked over the horizon.
Mirror Mirror on the lake, with my camera a picture I do take!
Mirror Lake is a small, seasonal lake located on Tenaya Creek in Yosemite National Park. Situated in Tenaya Canyon directly between North Dome and Half Dome, it is the last remnant of a large glacial lake that once filled most of Yosemite Valley at the end of the last Ice Age, and is close to disappearing due to sediment accumulation.
(Otto and I; Maria Jose and Edgar) We went to the lake house today for lunch. This week i'll show you a couple of shots of the lake.
thanks for visiting my photostream... i did not have internet yesterday so, sorry for the absence.
Mirror reflections at an alpine lake in the Eastern Sierras.
If you guys get a chance, go check out the blog post that I did for Really Right Stuff. It's a nice little read from my past trip to Bisti Badlands.

'Mirror' bridge on the Calder & Hebble canal navigaton near Cromwell Bottom, between Elland and Brighouse.
[This bridge had to be re-built during 2017 due to being damaged during the Boxing Day flooding of 2015.]
One more from Mirror Lake. This was from the second night which, as you can see, was pretty darned nice as well. Since the light was more consistent than the fleeting monsoon light of the first night, I decided to shoot a stitched pano of the lake. This is from four vertical images. Extra work was involved to clone Steve's ass out of the picture (along with his tripod) on the right hand side! :-) While the nearly half moon is almost insignificant here (just to the left of Lone Eagle Peak), it was cool that it traversed right over the top of the peak...which I, of course, shot a little later.
Crystal clear reflection just like in the mirror, shot this one at Piburger lake Austria. Loved the place
Hipstamatic TV shot
"I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.
What ever you see I swallow immediately
Just as it is, unmisted by love or dislike.
I am not cruel, only truthful---
The eye of a little god, four-cornered.
Most of the time I meditate on the opposite wall.
It is pink, with speckles. I have looked at it so long
I think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers.
Faces and darkness separate us over and over.
Now I am a lake. A woman bends over me,
Searching my reaches for what she really is.
Then she turns to those liars, the candles or the moon.
I see her back, and reflect it faithfully.
She rewards me with tears and an agitation of hands.
I am important to her. She comes and goes.
Each morning it is her face that replaces the darkness.
In me she has drowned a young girl, and in me an old woman
Rises toward her day after day, like a terrible fish."
By Sylvia Plath
This is about ten minutes before sunrise today looking towards the Newport Bridge on Mirror Pond. The business community in bend was able to save this pond by raising enough money (or credit) to repair an old obsolete dam. I love the plug-in Merge to 32 Bit HDR because it is realistic and there is practically no noise.
At Mirror Lake, I found this rock and its reflection perfectly aligned with the towering Half Dome above.

The Human League
The water shines
A pebble skips across the face
A dozen times, then disappears
Not a trace left behind
The thrower turns and walks away
A change of mind
Another start a brand new day
You know i`ll change
If change is what you require
Your every wish
Your every dream, hope, desire
Here comes the mirror man
Says he's a people fan
Here comes the mirror man
Went to Cecil Hills this morning with Khosrow and witnessed the most unbelievable sunrise I have ever seen. This is a 7 shot pano, pretty much straight out of the camera, Cropped and a slight curves layer...that's it. Hope you like Mirror Man, Mike
Whatever you see – it is you
B3 - this energy motivates you to analyse your self.
"Who am I?"
A3 would motivate to the question:
"Do I look ok?"
If you are interested in your psyche, your dreams and your consciousness, be sure this interest is empowered by B3.
Energy B3 motivates: Find out who you are.
When I felt unhappy with myself and the world, the key to happiness lay in my self. I could not change the world, but the way I see the world has changed dramatically. These changes are very welcome to me because they caused inner peace.
Here’s one from last summer at Mirror Lake in Yosemite National Park. The lake is actually quite small and I would hardly call it a lake. I remember reading on a kiosk that it used to be a lot bigger when there was a hotel on it because they used to dredge it out. The hotel burned down a long time ago and after that the park service decided to let things go natural. Now the lake is more like a couple ponds. Well, I hope you enjoyed that fact and that my memory was correct otherwise it was a useless fact and I just wasted one minute of your life that you’ll never get back.
