From yesterday morning in the fog on the Acadian coast, for the #minimalmonday show that my buddy Oli runs over on G+. And read this for extra credit: nateparkerphotography.com/blog/2012/8/why-phone-cameras-h....

Have a great week my friends and stay safe while you're doing it! -Nate.

Most of the beautiful rocks formation was under sand and water due to big waves and high tide. After waiting for a while I was able to catch this rock that was exposed for a shot time.

One of my friend lost his tripod in this adventure, but we had a lot of fun.

This picture has been selected to feature in Google+ #MinimalMonday curated By Olivier Du Tre. Excellent work from Olivier. Here is link of the Wrap Up No. 66, where my picture and several others were commented.

Enjoy.

For the Oli show on #minimalmonday, which is something we do over on Google+. So like I haven't made a photo in 12 days or so since coming home from the PNW. :-( the weather has been an ultra boring high pressure here and it's brown stick season after the foliage has all dried up and before the snow's have arrived- and it's chilly, and to top it off I've got a bunch of dental work looming and I threw my back out yesterday picking the dog up to wash a huge bad hot spot on him- and the whole thing just leaves me feeling real blah- high's to low's like. I need something to look forward to, a new project, maybe I should take some vitamins. Or maybe I should just enjoy taking a break. I've been doing some learning and reading a photoshop Kelby book and practicing some new stuff in Ps so that's cool. Looking forward to some huge dumps of snow though- now for something completely different! Right then- have a good week palies! more from the PNW trip here: nateparkerphotography.com/blog/2012/11/a-week-in-the-paci...

Happy (MinimalMonday)

G'morning everybody. I got up at 04:00 today as the forecast seemed promising as of last night. Partly cloudy and light winds at 4 knots turned out to be totally overcast and kind of flat and the winds were blowing probably up to 20 knots, so it was a bust. But you know how it works: if I didn't get the conditions I was looking for today, just for the act of trying- I'll have a better chance next time, law of averages and all. Anyways- here's a shot from last summer that I pulled out of the archives for the MinimalMonday theme over at G+ curated by my buddy Olivier Du Tre'. That's a cool thing about G+, themes and the following round-up of images that people submitted for review. There's only a couple theme days that I really care about but it's a good motivator sometimes or just an excuse other times to provide some artificial motivation. Anybody who hasn't joined up at G+: there's just another reason that you might like it. Right then, have a good one and thanks for stopping by- Nate.

sometimes i am overwhelmed by how

few people like wild plants in their yards

but these 'wild phlox' attract a great variety

of bees, butterflies & also hummingbirds

...more MinimalMonday...have a great week...
