Christ Church is the oldest functioning Protestant church in Malaysia. Construction began in 1741 on the centennial of the Dutch occupation, and it was completed in 1753. Before this date the Dutch used the old Portuguese church atop St. Paul's hill for their religious services.

Malacca was Dutch from 1641 till 1825. Malacca was controlled as a colony of the VOC. All the chief administrators of Malacca were Dutch governors except for the brief period that the city was under British Residents during the Wars of Napoleon.

Due to monsoon season, weather is not good. It was drizzling and we reach the shooting spot pretty late due to GPS failure and raining season.. Skies is very cloudy as well.. Probably coming back to retake the shot perhaps after the raining season.. Special thanks to Leon who drove us to the location..
