icy river reflections

Extended the shutter time enough to smooth out the water and get a nice reflection of the masts that were all lit up from the Bar Harbor Town lighting against the blue hour late evening sky. Increased the ISO here to 800 so the shutter time could be reduced to 8 seconds ... was concerned that longer times I was taking was causing the boats there to be not as crisp due to their movements.

Summer temperature and sunshine has arrived at least for a couple of days, so this is reflection in the small harbour at the small island we are visiting with sailor friends.

Samsø is a Danish island in the Kattegat, with a beautiful nature a lot of sand beaches and small harbours and marinas.

The island is 114 km² in area. Due to its central location, the island was used during the Viking Age as a meeting place. The name of the island stems from this time. The word "samle" means to gather and "ø" is the Danish word for island.

I will be catching up on your streams in the next days:))))

OK, not the first shot of this ship I've done by any means, but this time I wanted to pull the masts from the yachts into it...

I've also used a long exposure to soften the water.
