Tree tunnel of parc de Bercy at its best! :leaves:

Getting this type of perspective might be challenging as it requires a longer focal length to get a compression effect.

taken in tuscany, no crop

I took this one month ago, when there was first snow in Vancouver,but now there isn't any left. 一個月前拍的,當溫哥華第一場雪來的時候,沒想到之后就不再下雪了.

A composite of two of my photos with added texture by Skeletalmess ... many thanks! :-)

Looks like something I found in Granny's attic that needs a good clean!! LOL. Just felt like doing something a little different.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend.

Thank you so much for your visits and kind comments:-) xxx

Sun shining through a tree in winter.

Thrilled to featured on the Front Page of Masterclass (week begining 27 Feb 2011)

I think that I shall never see

A poem as lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree.

Wonderful frosty scenes round Aylesbury yesterday. How I wished for more time to photograph all the trees and fields and hedges. Not above freezing all day, although it was sunny.

Langdale Tree, a shot going back nearly 2 years ago at a time when i was going through a serious illness and this was a shot i took about 3 weeks before a major operation. It still sticks in my head i shouldn't really have been out in such bad weather but i am still glad i did. Langdales, Lake District, Cumbria.

Thanks for your votes and comments. I'm very happy to see the response to this picture.

It's been a few warm days lately. So when the cold came back, the snow and tree branches crytalized giving a fantastic light effect. Because of the strong light I had to make a HDR out of it to catch some of the magic.

View the picture in its original size and see for yourself.

I have some old Edwardian photographs of woodland, that have quite an unusual almost negative or solarized effect. I've been playing about in lightroom trying to achieve a similar effect on one of my old photographs.
