I took this one month ago, when there was first snow in Vancouver，but now there isn't any left. 一個月前拍的，當溫哥華第一場雪來的時候，沒想到之后就不再下雪了.
Wonderful frosty scenes round Aylesbury yesterday. How I wished for more time to photograph all the trees and fields and hedges. Not above freezing all day, although it was sunny.

This tree is just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd County Virginia. Over the years, this has been one of my favorite go-to spots to shoot. I recently rediscovered this forgotten shot from a while ago and reprocessed it in black and white.
Thrilled to featured on the Front Page of Masterclass (week begining 27 Feb 2011)
Langdale Tree, a shot going back nearly 2 years ago at a time when i was going through a serious illness and this was a shot i took about 3 weeks before a major operation. It still sticks in my head i shouldn't really have been out in such bad weather but i am still glad i did. Langdales, Lake District, Cumbria.

Not an extraordinary photo; I’m just a fan of big, twisted trees. I found this one at a stop on a country mountain road. It was starting to rain – not much time to get a better shot.

These two trees stand on a mountain meadow. The farmer has just begun to drive the lawn cut. The trees have grown crooked and have a rustic growth. Thak you so much.
Foto tirada em velocidade, de dentro do carro ... acabei cortando a coitadinha...mas amei essa luz...essas cores...era final de tarde.
Embaixo da árvore tem o milharal...que delícia...adoro milho!
This tree is called "Mathu" in Japan.
From Koishikawa Korakuen Japanese Garden, Tokyo.
those trees, especially in winter, always remind me poor soldiers, walking in the coldness and greyness... far from home... the interesting thing is that now, writing this, I realised that this is one of the places where one of the biggest battles of ww1 took place! so who knows...
