This is my first HDR photo from several years ago. These are the back stairs into the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas.

Summer's almost over. Time for one last CANNONBAAAAAAAALLLLLL!

Las Vegas (often abbreviated to "Vegas") is the most populous city in the state of Nevada, United States, the seat of Clark County, and an internationally known vacation, shopping, entertainment, and gambling destination. It was established in 1905 and officially became a city in 1911. It is the largest U.S. city founded in the 20th century.

The name Las Vegas is often applied to the unincorporated areas of Clark County that surround the city, especially the resort areas on and near the Las Vegas Strip. This 4½ mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard is mostly outside the Las Vegas city limits, in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester.

The center of gambling in the United States, Las Vegas is marketed as The Entertainment Capital of the World and is famous for its massive, lavish casino resorts. It is also commonly known as Sin City, due to the popularity of legalized gambling, availability of alcoholic beverages at any time (as is true throughout Nevada), and various forms and degrees of adult entertainment. The city's glamorous image has made it a popular setting for films and television programs.

This photo will be will be used by Josh Rubenstein for his CBS 2 and KCAL 9 (Los Angeles, CA) weather reports.

This is my last shot from the top of the Eiffel Tower, and it's the only decent shot I got with a sign of daylight in the sky. If I had a chance to do it again I would be sure to get up there at least 30 minutes prior to sunset so I could get the full range of sunset through blue hour, and I wouldn't complain if a few more clouds were there.

Look carefully in this "Mirror Image" piece I created below and you can actually see a couple of my tripods floating mysteriously in the Vegas clouds. I guess I could have worked on this image a bit more now that I think of it!

Mandalay Bay 3-Ex HDR. It's been awhile...

What a week...

This view just makes me think of the movie Oceans Eleven. I'm not sure why, since Oceans Eleven had more to do with The Bellagio, I guess it's just the Vegas Strip from above that I associate with the movie.

This image did not make it to flicker before because I was not happy with the noise on the sky, but I decided to load it anyways because I like the light going through the clouds and think some of you will like it too....after all we are here to share, have fun and not being so tie up in the technicalities!

More photoshopping experimentation with fake lomo. Let me know what you think! I've replaced this with a photo that is less blue and green
