A rose is probably my favourite flower.

I came across a book which marked a passage in time.

It told the story of a love which clearly was devine.

The book written with love and passion that was expressed with a sign.

A love so strong it touched even this heart of mine.

The sign of a yellow rose be it birthday, anniversary or special day.

The sign to express his love in every way.

I flicked the pages to read stories of joy.

A romantic holiday and the birth of a boy.

I continued on reading until the end. Where I saw tear stained pages indicating a heart you could not mend.

His darling had passed and the last written word I could see.

This is the last yellow rose I will give to thee.
