So many lupin photos on my computer and I still take more. Bad girl, bad.
Beautiful Lupins growing along the Maine highway, they help the soil by fixing atmospheric nitrogen into a useful form. They are becoming very abundant in this area, and were introduced from the northwest. Texas Bluebonnet are also a species of Lupin.
