LRT stands for Light Rail Transit, and in Calgary this above ground subway connects the city with public transportation. The Lacombe station was designed to look like an old time train station. The Transit operates 115 trains over 42.1KM of track, includes 36 stations and started in 1981.
An hour after the sun set, the days light still lingers in the sky above.
This is the opposite end of the LRT (Light Rapid Transit) station. The ribbed looking roof was the unusual architectural element that caught my eye.
If you ride the Kelana Jaya Line, formerly known as Putra LRT, you can take this kind of a shot since there's no driver in front of the carriage. Try it, it's fun.
P/S: I whisked away a few "Pendatang Asing" and drawn the interest in photography from a few bystanders.
