This is a view from 18th Street over looking Ping Tom Memorial Park. I wish the park wasn't under construction, but it gives me another spot to revisit once it's finished. Also, I dislike that light for the baseball field.

Love - Lock. and more love- locks .. countless number of love locks hanging around the roof terrace, with new locks adding daily.. it is an overwhelming sight and tempting enough for anyone in love to love love-lock .. this is a distinct feature of Namsa, Seoul Korea Tower and one thing that every couple never fail to do so as a symbolic testament of each other's love....

I was so lucky to capture the sheer beauty of mother nature - seems like mother nature is inspiring us to love, love her and her creations!

As you have noticed, it has been really hard for me to keep up with Flickr these past weeks.
My focus is on other things and though I dearly love each and every one of you, I'm having to say farewell to Flickr for a season.
I've wrestled with this decision because for the past couple years Flickr has been a huge part of my social connection.
I am going to miss your daily contacts more than you know. I'm going to miss your creative wonders and beautiful images too.
I know I'll be going through withdrawals!!
Perhaps, when all this work I've got to do on me is more underway, I'll figure out how to work Flickr back into my life!

Me and my girlfriend at Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, Australia.
Shot at sunrise for a competition on ljosmyndakeppni.is, this was actually the first time i have ever got up before sunrise to take photos. I went there the day before to scout the place and to decide where to take the shot i had in mind. Used a 3 stop grad.ND filter on the sky and a 12 sec. timer.
I tried to really think about the composition and all aspects that would affect the final picture before i pressed the button, and i ended up spending over an hour there and only shooting six frames. I´m happy with the results and the picture got first place :)

The phrase "love and light" has special meaning to our family. My young cousin Andy has been battling pancreatic cancer for nearly 2 years now. He is such a brave warrior in this fight for his life, and the words "Love and light" seem to guide him on this path. He has a young son and daughter who live thousands of miles away on another continent, and he is only able to see them a few times a year. Please send a prayer to him and to all the others who are fighting this battle....
