Another rather simple photo today. While I love that the sun is blazing, it's not really helpful when trying to do outdoor photography, so I settled with this little spot in the shade. I was quite happy that I managed to get the two halves lined up after only a few tries, the mosquitoes were hungry tonight!
This photo represents two important bike related things. One being that the Tour de France started today which is pretty much the only sporting event that I really pay attention to (what kind of Canadian AM I?) The other part is that today marks the one year anniversary of my life-changing, epic cycling trip I did last summer with The Otesha Project. One year ago today was our official start and we performed our play for the very first time to an energetic and supportive crowd at the Kitsilano Showboat in Vancouver, I posted a shot of our group after the performance below :)

love is all around
a series
This will be ongoing, but it came to me last week, just in time for VD. How utterly ironic. But these are reminders that love IS all around, not only romantic love. You just have to look with your heart.
Lately I have been trying to find different things to photograph...even rooting through my kitchen to find everyday objects such as utensils, etc. While doing so I came across this kitchen twine in one of the drawers. After taking a couple of shots of it just on its own I decided to get a little creative with it....Valentines Day is coming up...I also LOVE my kitchen and cooking and baking in there...hmmm, it seemed fitting to write the word "love" with this twine.

Love padlocks in Ljubljana started to appear in the early July 2010 on the newly constructed Butcher Bridge.

Ok so i decided to give the series i had planned for this week another go.....So
Welcome to the begining of my new series...."The 4 Elements".....Yes I know a lot of peoples have done this series/theme before, but I want to do my own take on the elements and besides....MY series has a little twist at the end....
This is my take on AIR....all I could think of for air was wind and clouds and the sky........so thats what I did.....Wanted to thank Katherine Elizabeth for sharing the awesome background she found Here

Love padlocked for eternity on the Pont des Arts in Paris 1st arrondissement near Louvre Museum. This bridge is currently the most padlocked all of Paris. This shot was done just after the liberation of the bridge all these locks.
