Random Acts of Scrapping Saturday:
This one was perfect for me. I wanted to get my 12 on the 12th page done for May. I lifted the size of my photos which are 1 7/8 X 1 1/4 and lifted the use of 12 photos. I feel this looks a little busy, but I had this idea in my head and went with it. There were not any events on this day and I was alone most of it, so there was not much to say. I just added some little comments here and there.
Photo No. 38. This picture I love of light and texture. Pulling the pull down at sunset with a golden light and very soft. Well sure you will know that I enjoy playing with luiz the sun. Hahaha, this beautiful day today so here surely will seize the camera and will be photographed. On Friday I have a 3 day course so here I am looking forward to that, I hope to learn more than it already is. Why do you always learn. Have a good day.
I used 12 different manufacturer's products. The design was scraplifted from Lisa Dickinson on Get IT Scrapped.
Happy You Day!
If your family created a holiday, what would it be?
I could not get my head around today's prompt, so I did a very old 12 on 12 page from June 2012.
We celebrated Tyler's Gotcha Day on October 3rd. He always lets me take photos of him and is very photogenic. He was adopted from Guatemala hence the cut out. I ended up using products from at least 9 different companies. Cartstock (Bazzill); patterned paper ( Simple Stories, Glitz, Stucio Calico, My Mind's Eye, Pink Paislee); chipboard title (Lil' Davis Designs); label maker tape (K & Co.); mist splatter (Heidi Swapp).
Hoy presente mi proyecto Nº 8. El clima esta feo. Hay muchas cenizas y tierra. Asique no sali a fotografiar. Saludos :)
Now present my project No. 8. The weather is ugly. There are many ashes and earth. So do not went out to shoot. But if my yard and saw a focus shot so here with a little imagination to hang with a brooch and gave it a highlight. To give him life. I hope you enjoy. Greetings:)
Yesterday we took a trip with a friend to St. Martin, and went to greet a great aunt, where we made a rich caffe and I liked their cups.
I used the inspiration photo by making a fun, childish page, using lots of patterns and quite a few different blues. I felt like playing (especially after yesterday's more serious layout) and used up some old BG paper that never seems to fit anything!
Just a silly page and I hope to be back to my usual style tomorrow.
I used a sketch from Pinterest to do my layout today. Have ha this photo in my collection r a while and didn't think I'd do it anytime soon so I'm glad I have.
I didn't stick to prompt today cause I found it a but difficult but maybe ill try later.
Thanks for looking xxxx
I opened a magazine to the first ad that caught my eye & I really love how it all came together today.
I going to miss these wild LOAD days... thank you my sweet load friends for your comments~ they bring such *sunshine* into my day! :o)
Not including ink and stuff from the sewing store, I have 10 manufacturers if I don't include Crate under American Crafts.
American Crafts-cardstock, patterned papers, letter stickers
October Afternoon-patterned paper, tab
Basic Grey- enamel dots
Crate paper-patterned paper
Lakeland ltd-paper lace
I used papers from Cosmo Cricket, Crate Paper, Pink Paisley, Studio Calico and Echo Park. I used NO embellishments, I had plenty that matched but none that worked with the simple look I was wanting.
Every year on New Years eve we do an ice cream taste test...buy a bunch of flavors and taste them all. With 3 teens and one pre-teen it is super easy to get it all eaten up. Rules: try every flavor and always must have one vanilla(one kiddo only eats vanilla- but he does try the others)i always try to buy something weird or funky... a great tradition.
We don't throw big birthday parties in my family (at least since we moved away for our last home) and rarely have a friends only shin dig. So after many many months of begging I caved and let my oldest daughter have her friends only party and she was thrilled! Just hope I don't have to top it this year!
This is a lift from LOAD Day 6 where I used the same type of pop-up flowers at the bottom of the page. Paper is Sassafras and Prima using the Cameo Silhouette to cut out the dotted paper, the title and the date tag. Also used MME butterfly button and yellow book binding. Overcontrasted pictures to give more of an "angelic" feel to the page, adding in more white to make the photos stand out more against the busy flowery paper.
Usually when I use a template, I change it up quite a bit. But this one I used just as is - everything fit with the photo and I liked how the aqua contrasted with the red suit. Good thing cause it was a busy day and I needed something quick.
Template from Studio DD.
Daily life with my children is always inspiring.
Twice in the last week Shelby has taken the cookie from her lunch, put it in her pocket and saved it
for her brother. As soon as she sees him, she digs it out of her pocket (lint and all) and presents it to Bubba. He's always thrilled and devours the treat within seconds. He doesn't even
mind if the cookie has a bite
taken out of it, which on occasion
it does! Here they are, sharing
some saved cookies on the ride home from school. (5.24.2011)
I used 14 different manufacturers and a bunch of scraps! Studio Calico, Sass Lass, OA, MME, Amy Tangerine (AC), Echo Park, Lilybee, BG, Crate Paper, Pebbles, Jillibean Soup, Doodlebug, CTMH, Making Memories. TFL!
I wanted to try a vintage page in a different style than what I usually do (one photo, cluster of flowers, etc.) The papers and shapes are all from different kits, some are recolored and the three flowers are embellishments I made from my photos. Not sure what I think of this but it was fun to try. THere are 6 or 8 different sources (depending on how you count the flowers).
Every person on the planet is rich. Either material things - money, fast cars, expensive clother or abstract such as memories and feelings. I'm on the other side and I just get by with emotions and beautiful memories from lovely Sandefjord, Norway.
This photo I took in the moment when I sat on the ocean pier and watched the landing airplanes.

LOAD513 #26 - Inspired by Pycho
Whimsical Musings #71 - inspired by goodbyes
Counterfeit Kit Challenge, Feb kit, Uban, #8
It all tied in together. Thinking about which Whimsical Musings prompt I was still missing, I came up with goodbyes. Looking through my photos I came across my poor (murdered) iPhone and remembered the other phtoo of the other iPhone I had. Then I thought about how I was to blame that my babies were no more! Hence the murder. Also the glass reminded me somehow of the Psycho poster and I realised I could tie both in together! Ha ha - tenuous but true.
Used my Feb kit for this one - it's never ending and I was hoping that this would be the last one - no, I seem to have more to go!
I think Load is getting me to finally finish of 2010 if nothing else! This is Conchapalooza! One of our family traditions is to spend Thanksgiving in Bahamas different out island each year) as I have a cousin who lives/works there. The last night of the week (not Thanksgiving) we have a tradition we've dubbed Conchapalooza...we have a feast of conch (usually that we've gathered ourselves) prepared 6+ ways....and some good tropical drinks as well ;)
Leaving town again tomorrow, packed up three more kits that will finish Thanksgiving trip 2010...Hope the prompts match ;)
Breakfast foods are the ONLY foods that ALL of our boys like, so we often did "breakfast for dinner" as they were growing up. But the last few years that the boys were still at home, this finally became a routine -- Thursdays became "Waffle Days" -- waffles and bacon for supper. The boys would be at gymnastics and I would be working, all until 8:00, so Pat would get things ready to eat when we got home: lots of waffles (with whipped cream) and a bunch of bacon. Even now that they are away and pretty much on their own, Nate and Aaron still usually get together on Thursdays for waffles.
Created from the Gossamer Blue kit at Scrapbook Improv. Three of three.

Journalling - detail
Ok, for the first time in the 6 LOADs I've done, I feel like I might be running out of steam! I mean, I'm still enjoying it (honestly) but my hormones are making me feel like a screaming banshee at the moment!!! So maybe that's the reason...
But anyway, today's layout is a little quirk of living here in Germany that I've wanted to capture for a while so am SO happy to get it done.
I feel like I ought to put something in the white space under the title but I don't seem to have anything suitable - does anyone have any ideas? Or should I just leave it open? - for a change!
ETA: Page Maps sketch & I think I have to add a last half line to say that I admit to being exactly the same these days - love that asparagus!!!
Heidi Swapp-color shine, My Mind Eye-enamel dots, DeJaViews-You are my sunshine, Making Memories-title letters, Project Life-pen, BoBunny-stripe paper, Little Yellow Bicycle-sun cut out, FancyPants-rub ins, Bazzill-white paper.
