I used 12 different manufacturer's products. The design was scraplifted from Lisa Dickinson on Get IT Scrapped.
We celebrated Tyler's Gotcha Day on October 3rd. He always lets me take photos of him and is very photogenic. He was adopted from Guatemala hence the cut out. I ended up using products from at least 9 different companies. Cartstock (Bazzill); patterned paper ( Simple Stories, Glitz, Stucio Calico, My Mind's Eye, Pink Paislee); chipboard title (Lil' Davis Designs); label maker tape (K & Co.); mist splatter (Heidi Swapp).
Not including ink and stuff from the sewing store, I have 10 manufacturers if I don't include Crate under American Crafts.
American Crafts-cardstock, patterned papers, letter stickers
October Afternoon-patterned paper, tab
Basic Grey- enamel dots
Crate paper-patterned paper
Lakeland ltd-paper lace
Una de las fotografías que hice de Bahía Blanca casi anocheciendo. Saludos a todos.
wow. today was really challenging. yikes. besides being glued to the TV for the bball game, the story I wanted to follow for this prompt had no pictures. humph. I know now that I should have used a picture of myself (duh!) but when I was flipping through the stack, this is the one that spoke "so pam" to me. These are little clay figures I sculpted for my friend April who is obsessed with aliens. Overall I love the layout though tomorrow I may rethink the photo choice and just swap it.
thanks for still playing along and encouraging me to finish the month. But this was definitely not a night I wanted to scrap. :)
And I just realized I was so tired I forgot to erase the pencil lines on the journaling. oops.
I wanted to create a page about these little notepads which remind me of my childhood vacations and my grandpa. I have used stuff from 16 (!!!) brands: Cosmo Cricket, We R Memory Keepers, Maya Road, Tim Holtz, Paper Reflections, Tsukineko, Toga, Ranger, 7 Gypsies, Prima Marketing, Tattered Angels, Rhodia, K&Company, Cultura, Fancy Pants Designs, American Crafts.
I used 14 different manufacturers and a bunch of scraps! Studio Calico, Sass Lass, OA, MME, Amy Tangerine (AC), Echo Park, Lilybee, BG, Crate Paper, Pebbles, Jillibean Soup, Doodlebug, CTMH, Making Memories. TFL!
Couldn't resist using this photo for the prompt.

Every person on the planet is rich. Either material things - money, fast cars, expensive clother or abstract such as memories and feelings. I'm on the other side and I just get by with emotions and beautiful memories from lovely Sandefjord, Norway.
This photo I took in the moment when I sat on the ocean pier and watched the landing airplanes.

I think Load is getting me to finally finish of 2010 if nothing else! This is Conchapalooza! One of our family traditions is to spend Thanksgiving in Bahamas different out island each year) as I have a cousin who lives/works there. The last night of the week (not Thanksgiving) we have a tradition we've dubbed Conchapalooza...we have a feast of conch (usually that we've gathered ourselves) prepared 6+ ways....and some good tropical drinks as well ;)
Leaving town again tomorrow, packed up three more kits that will finish Thanksgiving trip 2010...Hope the prompts match ;)
Breakfast foods are the ONLY foods that ALL of our boys like, so we often did "breakfast for dinner" as they were growing up. But the last few years that the boys were still at home, this finally became a routine -- Thursdays became "Waffle Days" -- waffles and bacon for supper. The boys would be at gymnastics and I would be working, all until 8:00, so Pat would get things ready to eat when we got home: lots of waffles (with whipped cream) and a bunch of bacon. Even now that they are away and pretty much on their own, Nate and Aaron still usually get together on Thursdays for waffles.
I was inspired by Dani today and fellow LOADSter KeddyO, Dani because she made a Christmas LO, and KeddyO for the design style, thanks ladies!
I used Studio Calico, American Crafts, Bo Bunny, Glitz, Maya Road, My Minds Eye, Elle's Studio and October Afternoon today. I don't think I've ever used so many manufacturers on one page!
Journalling - detail
Ok, for the first time in the 6 LOADs I've done, I feel like I might be running out of steam! I mean, I'm still enjoying it (honestly) but my hormones are making me feel like a screaming banshee at the moment!!! So maybe that's the reason...
But anyway, today's layout is a little quirk of living here in Germany that I've wanted to capture for a while so am SO happy to get it done.
I feel like I ought to put something in the white space under the title but I don't seem to have anything suitable - does anyone have any ideas? Or should I just leave it open? - for a change!
ETA: Page Maps sketch & I think I have to add a last half line to say that I admit to being exactly the same these days - love that asparagus!!!

This is a lift from LOAD Day 6 where I used the same type of pop-up flowers at the bottom of the page. Paper is Sassafras and Prima using the Cameo Silhouette to cut out the dotted paper, the title and the date tag. Also used MME butterfly button and yellow book binding. Overcontrasted pictures to give more of an "angelic" feel to the page, adding in more white to make the photos stand out more against the busy flowery paper.
Our family certainly has plenty of crazy people in it, but I went with something we are crazy about ... Halloween! And the particularly funny memory of my son's badly made Halloween costume (yes, you had to be there!). Really had fun with this today, yay!
There’s nothing more fun than dressing up for Halloween, especially when you get a crazy costume like Alexander’s Batman outfit. Kev and I were crying with laughter as he
lept around; he looked more like a rabbit than a bat!

Blended papers: Dark Heart kit, Etc by Danyale (Digi Chick)
Ah, inspiration! Once I decided what to document, it just flowed....like a mojito.
Mixing products is generally easy for me. Wanted to do a Christmas page. It's been ages...still have a 1997 unfinished album in fact. So the earlier pages are reeeeally old school CM style. So I tried not to stray too far with this page and keep some of the album's colors consistent. I think it looks better in person than in this photo. I'm disappointed in my handwritten title. May have to redo that. This page could've also been used for Day1: bad-dark-photos. Used older products in my stash by DCWV, Making Memories, EK Success, and Creative Memories.

I wanted to try a vintage page in a different style than what I usually do (one photo, cluster of flowers, etc.) The papers and shapes are all from different kits, some are recolored and the three flowers are embellishments I made from my photos. Not sure what I think of this but it was fun to try. THere are 6 or 8 different sources (depending on how you count the flowers).
These are photos that I took while we were on our long walk of the day. Our short walk happens around 6pm, and it's too dark to take photos.
Not sure it counts as a holiday, but it is kind of a family tradition, at least once a year, if not twice we have a Computer Free day, well now in the age of tablets and smartphones, I could really say a Tech Free Day, where we turn it all off for the day and go back to the good old board games and conversations face to face, not over Skype or IM! If you didn’t know us you’d think we’re quite sad but when you do get to know how “plugged in” we are as a family, you’d understand that it’s just US and has always been like this... Journaling reads:
TECH FREE DAY!
We’re a very technical family... everyone in this house has a computer and as a family we share numerous smart phones and tablets. We probably spend way too much time “alone” doing our own thing. Of course there are games that we all enjoy and play together, like World Of Warcraft, Starcraft and Diablo. We each have YouTube accounts that we watch what we want, when we want, and we don’t have to worry about if the other person doesn’t like it because they’re always off doing their own thing or watching their own thing at the time. It’s always been this way, and for our family it works. My kids sometime think maybe they weren’t born, but downloaded off the internet! Every once and awhile though, we put it all away, and turn it all off and go and play a “traditional” game. Funnily enough, World of Warcraft the boardgame is one of our favourites! 26/2/2013
TFL, oh my gosh, only 2 more days :( Feeling a bit sad now, even though at the beginning I had convinced myself Lain hated me with her prompts, it did get better and I am happy to say even the pages I hated doing, I’m glad I’ve done and now I can look back and be thankful!
My journaling says "Oh how lovely it would be to KNOW that you have the six numbers needed for 1st division win! I'm not greedy, ONE million will do. I have a list of names in my head who I would gift money to. I'd love to do it anonymously! Such fun. A favourite trilogy of movies of mine is 'Back to the Future', where Marty McFly gets an almanac with race results. * If I knew the lotto numbers, I would not abuse the privilege - just ONE win would do ME! (*Marty has it stolen by BIFF, who COMPLETELY changes the future ...) I have a list of things I wish I knew. The others were a bit deep for me - not in the deep zone at the moment. Oh, if anyone is interested, I printed two of those pics and some of the balls are cut out and raised on foam :) The letters are foam cut with ANCIENT Sizzix dies.
My Mind's Eye "On the Bright Side" patterned paper and banner, W R Memory Keepers twine/floss, My Mind's Eye "Follow Your Heart" chipboard sticker, yellow rub-ons, Studio Calico circle stamp (white), Pebbles clothespins, Basic Grey, Glitz, Pebbles and October Afternoon small letter stickers, title cut out with Silhouette Cameo, yellow sewing machine stitching.
inspired by a page I made over a year ago. www.flickr.com/photos/whimsicalnature/5454810325/in/set-7... this counts as my "lift yourself" as well as my WM challenge for this week, which was to be inspired by clothes. I also got a new kit from Amy Tangerine which i put to good use here. Loved playing with these products.
LOAD26 Look Back Used elements from 5 different designers. I seldom stay in a kit so this was not out of the box. It is harder for me not to journal - but alas...it is one more page done in my niece's Senior Album. Feels good to finish. Bed soon. Long Long Day!
Dear Me - letter to my younger self. It ends sort of abruptly because I ran out of room to write. :-/
Created from the Gossamer Blue kit at Scrapbook Improv. One of three.
I had this photo that I'd taken out of a magazine - I was really curious to see if I could replicate the design in the magazine on a layout and I think it worked out!
This is also a bit of a tradition - I travel for work once in a while and we always do something special when I get home.
