My horse Jeddy. I like this obscure angle, might not be to everyone's taste but I think it makes him look strange and its pretty cool to be able to do that with just a camera. Photography is so interesting!

This is my view of my leg at the moment!!
On Saturday night I was on my way back from taking photos of the sunset when I slipped going down a small grassy hill and fractured my leg close to the ankle. I now have the "pleasure" of a cast and crutches for the next 6 weeks.
I should add that the sunset was a non-event and the camera survived the fall :-)
Sorry if I don't get to visit your streams in the next few days.
In the meantime feel free to "sign" my cast :-)

Imagine yourself shooting this place in the middle of the night. And then all the lights went out! ;D
The flares were caused by the star cross filter. I'd say not nice to use in this situation.
*FGR invades Ugly Underwear Club*
Truthfully, I am not a big fan of underwear, and once a pair (why are pants called pairs anyway?) gets "ugly" i throw them in the trash. But bras are a different story. the comfortable ones are nearly always ugly. so here is my version of Ugly Underwear.
"O Winter! ruler of the inverted year, . . . I crown thee king of intimate delights, Fireside enjoyments, home-born happiness, And all the comforts that the lowly roof Of undisturb'd Retirement, and the hours Of long uninterrupted evening, know."

These six photos are from the first roll of film I developed in my darkroom.

51 days in and nothing to post and already resorting to self portraits.
I almost HDRed myself. Almost. But not quite.

Once again it was time for a wonderful art installation to be unveiled at Rockefeller Center and this time it is a massive inflatable ballerina created by artist Jeff Koons.
The inflated nylon sculpture is named "Seated Ballerina" and towers 45 feet (14 meters) in height. Based on a porcelain figurine of a ballerina in a blue tutu it is a beautiful addition to the already striking entrance of 30 Rock.
Koons says the work "conveys optimism and a sense of potential for the future." He also says the sculpture is intended to bring awareness to National Missing Children's Month.
"Seated Ballerina" is the third Koons work to take up residence at Rockefeller Center and I hope not the last. It is on display through June 2, 2017.
Happy Sliders Sunday everyone! :)
