1950s Leica M2 + Leica Summilux ASPH 50mm f1.4 + 35mm Kodak Portra 160 film
I have just had 2 rolls of Portra film back from the lab. This shot was developed and scanned by them.
Despite loving the Leica M2 I think the same photo in B&W with the digital Leica M9 + Noctilux 50mm f1.0 is stronger. I am definitely a black and white man! :)

The morning atmosphere as i was cycling to work. No editing, the light was to good to use the black and white camera setting.(white balance)

All packed, time to drive to Gloucester to my next Leica Wedding today, Deb & Paul :)
This was a 1937 Leica II model D (#2204xx) which has been converted to a 1948 Leica IIC. Top shutter speed of 500. Lens is Summitar 5cm f2 #4875xx. Was given to me by a friend who used it when travelling through Africa in the early 70s.
Another from yesterday. We got so many nice ones it is tough to only post one at a time!

Shot taken with the Sony A7r with my favourite summicron 40mm f2 lens. Shot of the Leica Elmarit 90mm f2.8 lens which is yet to be tested. it will be getting sent back due to some cleaning marks I'm not happy with, one of the issues when buying second hand lenses.

Sophie in the studio tonight, well standing in the kitchen doorway, lit from behind with the kitchen LED spotlights and face from last of the daylight. Soft focus as I was blind from the rim light but I preferred it to the in focus versions somehow.
