The Cron is becoming my go to 50mm lens - it focuses closer than the Zeiss ZM Sonnar and is smaller than the Leica Lux ASPH 50 with nice rendering

This shot was one of a few to finish a wedding film. I paid for the wedding film to be developed and scanned to save time and to get the best from the negatives. I normally scan film myself with an Epson v600.

Summilux is very sharp at inifinity stopped down a bit - here f8 I think.
I used 3 lenses on the Leica M9 in London yesterday. I took roughly 600 photos and interchanged the 3 lenses roughly equally. The Lenses I took were the Leica Summilux ASPH 50/1.4, Zeiss ZM Sonnar 50/1.5 C and Voigtlander (CV) Nokton 35mm f1.2 ASPH ii.
I selected a photo from the thumbnails to edit that stood out. This was taken with the Lux 50 ASPH
Score so far on the Zeiss ZM vs Leica ASPH 50 vs Voigtlander ASPH 35 battle is:
Zeiss 2: Voigtlander 1: Leica 1!

Sample from today's studio workshop with model Holly helping me out as our subject. Here I was showing how to use daylight for portraits. Casual photo where I opened the front door and sat Holly on the stairs to use the available light on that side of the room.

Leica M9 wedding photography at Ellingham Hall, Northumberland yesterday.
Congratulations to Mike and Caroline. A beautiful and fun wedding but quite a drive from Coventry! That said, much nearer than my last December wedding in Florida! :)
I was taking similar images with my Leica M3 film camera + Kodak Portra so looking forward to those! See it here - www.flickr.com/photos/32681588@N03/15782719124/
