I am inclined to mark this as one of the best reworkings that I have done with PhotoViva. Is it an improvement on the original photo? I think so.

Out of all of the natural features at all of the National Park locations that feature caves or caverns, this is by far my most favorite. This is the "Drapery Waterfall" located inside Lehman Caves at Great Basin National Park. The way that water has eroded the limestone to create such a eery and sublime spectacle and to be only a few feet away is truly mind-boggling.

The exit from Lehman Caves in Great Basin National Park.

While editing this (sitting on the ground at midnight, beside the visitor's center so I could steal power), three things happened. First, a bat flew by. Then a horned beetle flew into the wall beside me over and over until it'd killed itself. Finally, a scorpion crawled over my keyboard. What is the Park Service trying to hide!? What is in the cave!?!

... 'Sal I got.

Stalactites. Often these features form in linear alignment where ground water moves along fractures in the host rock. Lehman Caves. Great Basin National Park. Near Baker, White Pine Co., Nevada.

The finest workers in stone are not copper or steel tools, but the gentle touches of air and water working at their leisure with a liberal allowance of time."

-Henry David Thoreau

Lehman Caves is a beautiful marble cave ornately decorated with stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, flowstone, popcorn, and over 300 rare shield formations.
