Although we had much better weather than England in February, our week in Tenerife did se some high winds and an afternoon of Thunderstorms - this leaf blew into our pool during one of these storms.
Picked this collection of leaves from a shrub we call Burning Bush (Euonymus alatus). It's still in the process of changing so leaves more exposed have turned red while other parts of the bush are in various stages.
Autumn yields one last display of color before the monotones of winter descend. An endless rainbow of color not surpassed by the flowers of spring yet often overlooked. Leaves unmask their true selves for a short time before crumbling beneath our feet being returned to earth completing a cycle as old as time itself.
saw the beautiful leaves under the ice which highlighted their vibrant colors. the ice also gave the leaves that etching effect which i liked.
The background is yellow sassafras tree blooms and blue skies the window is a filter..Great weekend everyone♥

While chasing down the birds in early morning light, these lit up leaves caught my eye - lined it up to split the bokeh with the tree trunk and sky beyond.

As the autumn leaves begin to turn, it is lovely when you get the sort of light that highlights and backlights so well!
