Big Data... Big Promises... Is It Real?

I am hopeful that the time will soon come when as an industry we will embrace Intelligent Lead Routing powered by the same data aggregation (Big Data) algorithms used in a much less efficient manner today by lead scoring systems.

ILR combined with lead nurturing has the proven potential to drive long term customer retention, while enhancing the ROI from new business acquisition strategies and campaigns.

Imagine that, a system that using intensive training and coaching to show sales pros how to leverage customer communication activities in a manner that recognizes and leverages their own individual strengths to ensure maximum results from each day's efforts. This has always been a people business, and when we optimize process and match the right customer with the right message at the right time and pair that customer with the right sales resource.... We all win.

Four types of big data analyticshttps://skyplaystore.com/four-types-of-big-data-analytics/

bit.ly/2EKNf8E

Predictive big data analytics is probably the most desired type of analytics when businesses implement big data. According to a recent study, the market worth of predictive analytics is expected to reach $12.41 billion by 2022.

[AdSense-A]

Nonetheless, it is impossible to get to the two more profitable types of big data analytics – predictive analytics and prescriptive analytics – without going through the other two – descriptive and diagnostic analytics.

Despite the differences in their benefits and characteristics, all of them can help enterprises to improve their operations. Let’s see how well you know these four types of big data analytics.

1. Descriptive analytics

Descriptive analytics digs into the historical and real-time big data to find out repeating patterns and data correlations. Descriptive analytics, as its name suggests, provides businesses with a comprehensive overview of what has been happening. However, descriptive analytics can’t leverage big data to tell you what you should do or what is likely to happen.

Nevertheless, the descriptive analytics of big data is not useless. Businesses can still utilize descriptive analytics tools to monitor changes and develop trend reports, classify prospects to maximize conversions and personalized interactions with audiences, or to distinguish prospects for audience segmentation.

2. Diagnostic analytics

If you have some unidentified problems in operations, diagnostic analytics solutions can mine big data to identify their root cause. In particular, diagnostic analytics of big data is able to generate unbiased, data-driven explanations of causation as well as the parameters that need to be changed to improve the situation. In addition, diagnostic analytics can help people to avoid false interpretations of big data caused by wrong information or personal bias.

3. Predictive analytics

Predictive analytics is preferred by businesses because it has the ability to suggest what can happen next by combining accumulated and analyzed data points. Predictive analytics can go through big data and provide users with the probability of specific outcomes. Thanks to predictive analytics, companies can reach a higher accuracy in prediction; hence, achieve better decision-making.

When employed predictive analytics solutions in big data strategies, enterprises can predict lead scoring by qualifying the new prospect and suggest the most profitable actions to take. Businesses can also use predictive analytics to identify models and automate segmentation to provide better-personalized contents. Overall, predictive big data analytics is a powerful solution to optimize data-driven conversion.

4. Prescriptive analytics

Prescriptive analytics may be the least mainstream type of big data analytics among the four. It suggests users with the set of actions they should take to achieve a specific outcome. Prescriptive analytics tools analyze the big data of past/current actions and their respective outcomes to generate various future outcomes, then match them with your goal to provide you with the actions you should take to realize your goal.

[AdSense-A]

Prescriptive analytics is powerful, but it hasn’t come of age yet. There need to be more research, development, and employment of prescriptive big data analytics solutions for it to get to the mainstream. Once the technology is mature, the complex decision-making can be a little simpler.

Lead generation agency is the specialized and expert consultant to boost the business prospect of any firm owner. They have a long experience in this segment and successfully boost the productivity of a business enterprise. According to Econsultancy statistics, 2016, on an average, around 22% of firms get good conversion rates.

Starting from a general business to e-commerce stores, lead generation agency is the most vital part of any business. Business needs clients from time to time. So, it is imperative for firms and entrepreneurs to specify their requirements to a lead generation agency and gains more customers.

1) Expert Team and Services

Hiring a lead generation agency is nothing short of enhancing one’s business prospect. These consultants have a team of dedicated experts and subject matter specialists in various domains such as writers, copy editors, SEO executives and graphic designers as well.

Another plus point of hiring lead generation strategy is that it handles both the creative and marketing department of a firm to enhance its productivity and goodwill also.

For example: in adverse situations, when a firm goes through tumultuous times, then lead generation consultant acts as a savior. He not only helps his clients get more business but also salvage the pride and reputation of the client when he goes through tough times.

2) Being Result Oriented

Lead generation agency always works with a result motive. In fact, companies hire or partner with them with an intention to grow leap and bounds. Their primary object is to grow business of their clients. Around 68% of B2B communications take place for acquiring leads.

3) Marketing Automation Software

These automation programs have come to market around a decade back. They are vitally relevant for any business owner. These software tools give a broad picture of analytics, workflow, and other data to stay abreast of the current market trends.

Lead generation agency does use these software programs to offer the best service to their clients. HubSpot, Marketo, Serps, and Moz amongst the others are some example of these software tools being used by lead generation companies.

4) Channelizing Cold Calls

No doubt, a company finds it extremely difficult to convert sales through cold calls. That’s why a new statistics has revealed that only 2% of cold calls eventually turn into an appointment.

Lead Generation Company, on the other hand, gives massive impetus to a firm’s lead generation capabilities. Suppose a client gets a list of 200+ general undecided leads.

Then it will be a responsibility for the lead generation consultant to keep a tab on these 200+ leads and determine which one would be the next prospective clients or not.

5) Lead Prioritization and Strategizing Follow-Up

These days, lead generation firms have come up with a newer technique called lead scoring. Such technique is extremely important for a firm’s sales team to follow up qualified leads to a logical conclusion or turning the same into a valuable sales conversion.

A long-term process starts with developing a enduring relationship with clients. Eventually, if the clients stay satisfied with the effort, it goes on to multiply the company’s goodwill in actual terms.

Amongst all other things, content marketing has evolved out the most emerging trend for content marketing and digital strategy. As per the latest statistics, 93% of B2B firms have opined that content marketing generates far more leads than traditional marketing strategies.

6) Cut the Crap and Identify Potential Leads

When a firm got well-qualified leads that are easily identifiable then the firm is likely to garner the better response on its products and services.

Online buyers are little doubtful about what they will go to buy that’s why lead generation agency acts as a ready reckoner to them.

Usually, lead generation professionals never indulge in things that won’t lead to prosperity of their clients. In short, they cut the crap and focus on qualified leads only.

Lead generation agency not just collects great leads but also smoothens out the entire process of online buying and selling by addressing customers’ concerns and queries.

7) Better Rapport with Buyers

A lead generation agency is an expert at enhancing the relationship between buyers and the firm. A Lead generation agency is likely to help identify the right buyer of the firm with its inherent research and development studies.

8) Online Visibility and Presence

It is well known that global e-commerce will reach around 4-trillion USD by 2021. This shows the worldwide prevalence of online shopping in itself. A lead generation agency will not only help to enhance the site views, but it will also boost sales of the firm.

For example: an apparel manufacturing company hires a lead generation agency asks it to boost its sales. Then the agency will obviously boost sales alongside ensuring higher ranking of the site on search engine pages across the world having its universal presence.

Lead generation agency keeps a tab on all visitors and zeroes in on the customers who show greater interest in buying and furnishing their further details to book orders for such products online.

9) No need for PPC

It is another benefit of lead generation agency. Usually, firms spend a lot of money towards advertising their brands but lead generation agency usually considers it as its own responsibility.

They do round the clock SEO and other related activities to ensure that the company’s website or any particular e-commerce store appears on top of the Google and Bing Search Engine Result Page (SERP).

Technically speaking, higher ranking on organic search is always a better option than PPC or Google Adwords campaign.

10) Lead Generation Strategies

The lead generation consultant also implements successful lead generation strategies for their client for better results and more promotions of the entrepreneurs.

The latest research studies say that 93% of B2B communications begins with online search and communication. No doubt, lead generation consultant has a lot of ideas to turn your startup into a full-fledged business firm.

11) Appointment Setting Deals

Lead generation firms also successfully carry the appointment setting deals for clients. Under this system, client directly gets to connect with customers and prospective lead at a neutral venue where all necessary discussions relating to business could take place.

New statistics by a reputed website leaseasale.com have revealed an interesting datum. The statistics further says 48% of sales people or personnel engaged in spearheading a company’s sales and marketing departments are likely to not to follow up with prospects for reasons whatsoever.

In such a situation, it could lead to a massive loss of opportunities for a firm. That’s why lead generation consultant acts as a blessing in disguise in that scenario. They successfully conduct a meet between client and prospective customers eventually leading to sales.

Key Lead Generation Techniques and Approach

Lead generation is not a child’s play. It is the basis on which the foundation of every business firm stays on. A Lead generation consultant goes on to build the reputation of the firm from a scratch. So, a firm obviously needs these professionals’ service and help.

Lead generation is like a two-edged weapon for a firm to win against all competitions and cut-throat business rivalries all around. Before making an online purchase of any product, the latest statistics say that 94% of B2B buyers research online contents and sources.

Hiring a lead generation strategy is a multipronged approach. Starting from gathering lead to identify them into qualified and unqualified leads followed by making calls to each of the leads, lead generation tactics go exactly towards enhancing the rapport with prospective customers.

The Conclusion

There are several ways of lead generation techniques, and consultants are expert at providing all necessary services to their clients.

It includes a plethora of essential activities like SEO, Blog Services, Content Strategies and general appointment setting services too. In a nutshell, lead generation is the lifeline of any business.

In recent statistics, new data claims that 76% of B2B buyers use different modes of channels while researching for potential purchase. These consultants also use omni channels mode of communication on behalf of their clients for promotional purposes.

Also, these channels act as a vital link for company’s future growth and survival amidst the widespread cut-throat competitions all around. These days, it’s impossible to imagine success of a business firm without hiring a lead generation firm.

Demand creation budgets shrank in 2017, but SiriusDecisions made an interesting discovery: The highest performers beat the competition by spending that limited budget very differently. While average performers bought ads, high-performers leveraged white papers, trade shows, and interactive assets in new and interesting ways. Based on the findings of this report we have some EMEA Marketing Recommendations to help you continue to spend your limited budgets wisely while still beating the competition.

EMEA Marketing Recommendations

#1 – MAP’s

Many EMEA marketers are planning to integrate with a MAP (Marketing Automation Platform) in the next 24 months. MAPs are quickly becoming the cornerstone of the modern B2B marketing technology stack because they are more efficient, more powerful, and more cost-effective than using a diverse set of point tools.

Used well, marketing automation can tell the story of how your customers interact with your brand, your content, and the people in your company, throughout the entire customer journey.

Why add marketing automation to your stack?

A MAP can help you organize and manage those complex and time-consuming tasks that need to be coordinated with each other, including:

Social media marketing and other early-funnel tactics to attract leads

Content marketing that helps leads progress along the funnel and convert to sales

Email campaigns to generate engagement, nurture prospects, and onboard new customers

Asset creation, such as email and landing page templates

Forms and landing pages to capture lead data

Automated lead management, including qualification and hand-off to sales

List and data management, including segmentation for target marketing

Website analytics that reveals what people are interested in, and how they engage with your site

Campaign analytics that shows which campaigns really work and which channels deliver

Coordination with sales, including sharing customer relationship management (CRM) data in marketing campaigns

Efficient alignment of your inbound and outbound marketing strategies, multiple platforms and channels, and programs and processes, is a monumental, manual, tedious, nearly impossible job without using a MAP.

Implementing marketing automation can effectively bridge the gap between the various technologies, and empower marketing and sales to work closely together.

#2 – Lead Scoring

Many EMEA marketers are passing leads over to sales as soon as they get, vs implementing lead scoring but they are not alone.

79% of B2B marketers have not established a lead scoring model.

If you don’t know where to start with lead scoring, you’re not alone. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t learn: companies that excel at lead nurturing have 9% more sales reps making quotas.

Lead scoring is a method for identifying sales-ready leads by assigning values (points) based on predetermined criteria, e.g., industry and job title, website visits, video views, webinar attendance, and form completions. The sum of the points is the lead’s score.

Companies that excel at scoring and nurturing leads generate 50% more sales-ready leads at 33% lower cost. – Forrester

Lead scoring offers a lot of value to your business, including:

Efficiency: Decrease the volume of sales-ready leads, so you aren’t focusing on the wrong leads

Marketing measurement: Assess campaign effectiveness, and potential worth of opportunities

Operational excellence: Align organizational resources for more efficient conversion

Here’s an example of what lead scores could look like for some individuals based on their behavior and engagement with common marketing and sales activities:

Behavior

Visitor 1

Visitor 2

Visited Landing Page (+3 Points)

3

3

Watched Explainer Video (+8 Points)

8

Viewed Case Studies (+5 Points Each)

10

20

Viewed Pricing Page (+5 Points)

5

5

Opened Drip Email (+3 Points Each)

3

6

Attended Webinar (+10 Points)

10

10

Total Score

31

52

In this example, Visitor 1 would fall under the interested category and would be funneled into a nurturing campaign of drip emails and marketing outreach, while Visitor 2 is qualified as a lead, and would be moved over to the sales team.

Sea Stacks, Big Sur Coastline. Pacific Coast Highway, California. May 13, 2011. © Copyright G Dan Mitchell - all rights reserved.

Sea stacks line the rugged California Big Sur coastline below the Pacific Coast Highway.

I had some free time on Friday morning, so I decided to head over to the coast below Monterey. I had some discussions with someone earlier this week about photographs featuring coastal fog and hills, and I think that may be what planted the idea in my mind, though it turned out that conditions were not quite ideal for that particular sort of thing. However, it was a beautiful spring morning along the Big Sur coast, with the bright sun somewhat modulated by some atmospheric haze and a bit of fog here and there along ridge tops.

For those who may not have heard, driving this section of the Coast Highway is a bit tricky right now due to washouts and closures. I had to wait for a pilot vehicle to lead scores of us through one large section, and in another spot the road was reduced to a single lane by a large landslide. I understand that further south the road is actually closed completely, necessitating an inland detour.

The unusual traffic situation did create one advantage for me, however. Usually there is enough traffic on this famous route that driving along at very slow speeds annoys other drivers - so I sometimes have to keep going right past places I might otherwise want to stop and investigate. However, yesterday I quickly figured out that with 20-30 minutes between waves of traffic as the road opened and closed, all I had to do was pull over after passing one of the blockages, wait for the other cars to pass, and then drive in a more leisurely way with plenty of opportunities to stop.

So as I drove past this area that I had not really looked at closely in the past - it is between a couple of other spots that I know well - I was able to drive slowly, pull over to look more carefully, backtrack, and generally get to see it more than in the past. I first pulled off near this spot simply to turn around to go back and check a spot I had just passed. As I did so I noticed a painter packing up his gear. I did my "turn around," looked at the spot I had passed, decided it wasn't promising after all... and came right back to the spot where I had seen the painter. A short trail led down to the edge of the bluff and provided this view along the coast to the south.

On July 13, the U.S. Embassy soccer team played a soccer team comprised of members of the Afghan Presidential Protective Service. During a competitive but good-natured game, the Afghan team took an early lead, scoring two goals in the first half. The U.S. team came back in the second half, scoring two goals themselves, but the Afghan team ended up winning decisively, with a final score of 4-2. After the game, Ambassador McFarland and a representative from the Afghan team spoke of the importance of friendly competition, which draws athletes together across lines of language and nationality. To round off the evening, the Afghan team treated their American counterparts to a post-game reception, where team members from both sides mingled and shared stories.

At 12.53 p.m. on January 10, the moment all Bangladesh had been waiting forarrived. When Enamul Haque junior had Christopher Mpofu held at silly point, theyrecorded their maiden victory in their 35th Test. They had been dreaming of this daysince gaining Test status in 2000, but first had to endure 31 defeats, three draws andinnumerable sleepless nights.

Zimbabwe, fielding three debutants, were the weakest opponents they had ever facedbut, from beginning to end, the Test followed Bangladesh's script. After winning thetoss in perfect batting conditions, they amassed their highest Test total, took a sizeablefirst-innings lead, scored quickly in the second innings to earn ample time to dismissZimbabwe again, and completed their historic victory shortly after lunch on thefinal day.

Captain Habibul Bashar called it the best day of his life. He had led from the front, scoring fifties in both innings for the fifth time in Tests; he was unlucky to fall onlysix short of his fourth Test century on the opening day. Rajin Saleh also missed hishundred by a whisker, but there were four half-centuries in Bangladesh's first-innings488 and two near misses - plus half a dozen fifty partnerships. They began with 91from openers Javed Omar and Nafis Iqbal, then a Bangladesh first-wicket record, andthe highlight was 119 for the fourth from Habibul and Saleh. Zimbabwe's misery grewas the final four wickets added 147, including 134 in 28 overs between lunch and tea, carrying Bangladesh past their previous highest total, 416 against West Indies in StLucia in May 2004.

They were finally all out just after tea on the second day; Zimbabwe lost four wicketsby the close and two more next morning, still 137 adrift of saving the follow-on. ThenTaibu fought back with the help of Chigumbura, as they too added 119. Both eventuallyfell to left-arm spinner Mohammad Rafique, whose arm-ball gave the Zimbabweansnightmares. But, by the time Taibu was trapped, eight shy of a maiden Test centuryand just before the third day ended, he had averted the follow-on.Bangladesh had never before batted with the aim of setting a target, but they roseto the challenge, piling on 204 runs in 51 overs against defensive bowling and fielding. When the ninth wicket fell, they declared for only the second time, leaving Zimbabwe381 to win.

An inspired new-ball spell from Tapash Baisya reduced Zimbabwe to two for twoin their fourth over, and they were three down by the close. But Masakadza, in hisfirst Test since November 2002, and Taylor started the fifth day in brilliant form, adding66 in 15 overs before the drinks break. Immediately afterwards, however, Taylor waslbw offering no shot to a straight ball from Enamul Haque. That opened the floodgates.Enamul had bowled beautifully in the first innings without reward; this time, luck wason his side, and his flight and turn sent wickets tumbling like ripe mangoes. Dismissinglast man Mpofu gave him six for 45, the best Test figures for Bangladesh, beforecartwheels and a lap of honour kicked off the national celebrations.

The Hall 3 Men’s Volleyball Team played a highly anticipated & decisive semi-finals match against Hall 5 on Monday night. It was a long and epic battle of wits, muscle, sweat and blood. Despite the best efforts of our team, we crashed out with a score of 3-1 to Hall 5. Nevertheless, it was indeed an exciting match to watch.

From the start, Sports Secretary Khing had already mentioned that it would be a tough fight - Hall 5’s excellent lineup was said to be tough enough to take down the NUS IVP team. It was pretty evident - as captain Benny remarked at the end of the match - that our opponents had the clear advantage in terms of height. Nevertheless our team was not daunted by this fact, and played the first set with all their might.

Our team took advantage of various mistakes by our opponent in the first set. Through a series of epic spikes, dives and over net drops by Zhen Kai and Jun Rui, we quickly took a huge lead over the opponent, scoring over 7 and 10 points consecutively to churn up a huge lead of 19 - 5. At this point of time, the Hall 5 supporters; a sizeable number; started roaring their lungs out in support of their team players. As if spurred on by them, the Hall 5 players seemingly got their act together and gave our players a harder time with multiple over net blocks and a much tighter defence. They soon managed to push up their score by another 10 points. However our team continued to utilise this lead; the game ended as 25-15 to our favour.

At this point of time, it still seemed as if the win was in Hall 3’s grasp - with the relatively large win margin in the first round. However this could be no further from the truth - Hall 5 appeared to have taken the first set as a warm up round, and fought back with a vengeance in the second round. They soon gained a sizeable lead, scoring 9 points consecutively to obtain a score of 18-8 to their favour. Our players continued to preserve on, but eventually lost this set with a score of 25-14.

For Round 3, our players worked harder this time, but was still unable to gain good lead on Hall 5. This round however, was an amazing showcase of volleyball skill and talent, with numerous ‘impossibru’ saves by our players and ‘Level: Asian’ (no offence to Hall 5’s Caucasian player) spikes from our players. In the words of our dear A. Pub. Sec. Ethel(who had wandered over from the opposite hall where the table tennis qualifiers were taking place) : “Epic spike is epic”.

The Hall 5 players also showed remarkable talent with numerous skilful deflects and spikes. There was even a moment where a Hall 5 player desperately tried to kick a stray out-ball back into the court from the other side of the net. This time, the match ended with a score of 25-18 to Hall 5.

At this point, our players had to win home both the remaining sets, or be sent home without a chance of playing the finals. This was a crucial set, and both sides knew it. We thus began Round 4 - which would be last, longest, and most intense round of the whole season so far.

The scores slowly began to creep up. This time, our players did not let Hall 5 gain any significant lead on us. The scores were tied at 15-15, 16-16, 17-17… you get the idea. Benny tried out several unusual tactics - ‘feinting’ : pretending to lob the ball over the net with much force before doing a quick drop. This scored us various points, however the opponent was quick to cover up their defence flaws and even reproduced this trick on us with great success. The game dragged on to 3 deuces - with no party appearing to have the upper hand. Alas - Hall 5 managed to push hard near the end - and the game ended with a close score of 30-28 to their favour.

The performance of our volleyball team has indeed been spectacular this year - even with the large number of less experienced freshies on the team. While we might not have made it beyond this round of competition this year - its seems, as certain as Hall 3 winning the overall sports championships this year, that the team will come out stronger, better, and ready to take on the championships next year with a even better score.

The match was held at the SRC Sports Hall at 2000hrs.

Here at Vidyard, we’ve seen a sales video or two. Or three. Or honestly, tens of thousands.

With over 23,000 sales reps using Vidyard GoVideo (formerly ViewedIt) around the world, we’ve had a chance to analyze everything about how sales reps record videos. We’ve learned that they’ll record anywhere, from rooftops to cafes to malls, bars, and boats. They’ll record rain or shine, good lighting or bad, despite wind, sleet, hail, janitors vacuuming, or someone peeking into the conference room to see if it’s free. (It isn’t.)

In the midst of all this, a few top sellers and their videos stand head and shoulders above the rest. We interviewed as many as we could to find out what makes them so special. Here’s what we discovered:

3 secrets behind top performing sales reps’ videos:

1. They wing it

They what? Yes, that’s right. They forgo the script and simply say what’s on their mind, usually in one take. But for them, the actual performance—the video recording—is only the tip of the iceberg. It conceals an extraordinary amount of preparation.

First and foremost, they heavily research their customers. The whole point of personalized videos is to break out of the spammy, programmatic-sounding mass emails that people are so averse to. These sales reps know that the best way to get noticed is to personalize. They study everything from executives’ tweets to the company’s most recent 10-K.

Top reps also treat their videos like performances and practice endlessly. According to the ancient philosopher Lao Tzu: “An amateur practices until he gets it right. A master practices until he cannot get it wrong.” Top reps go well beyond a few simple test videos and record themselves for hundreds of hours, improving their cadence, eliminating filler words, and honing their craft.

“An amateur practices until he gets it right. A master practices until he cannot get it wrong.” – Lao Tzu

When top reps step up to the webcam, they’re able to ‘wing it’ because everything they need has been internalized. They’re no longer self-conscious and that allows them to come across as breezy, unscripted, and natural. They talk about what they’ve learned about their customer and it’s music to their viewer’s ears.

2. They focus on what customers want

Top reps talk about themselves and their company less often than most salespeople. Like, a lot less. That’s because even while they’re winging it, they’ve deeply internalized the idea that they need to keep things interesting for their viewer.

“Remember that customers don’t care about your product until you prove that you can provide value to them,” wrote Toni Bennett, Vice President of Sales at Terminus, on the Vidyard blog. “The key is to speak to how you can help that person and organization, NOT to simply tell them what you do.”

Terminus boosted sales responses by 3x with video. See how.

Toni’s team has had some groundbreaking success integrating this principle into their training and have found that it has some other benefits. For example, when a video is about helping the customer solve a real problem, they don’t keep it to themselves. Customer-focused videos get circulated throughout buying committees and become an artefact of their discovery process.

By focusing on what customers want, top salespeople earn the title of trusted consultant and give themselves a leg up in the buying process.

3. They use video to prioritize their time

Top sales reps aren’t the best simply because they’re better sellers (though some certainly are), but because they’re masters of prioritization. They know where to spend the least amount of effort for the greatest results. Many use video to optimize their time.

Top sellers only record as much video as they need to. If the marketing or product team has said it better, they snag that pre-recorded clip, add it to a playlist, and then splice in a custom introduction which explains why it’s relevant. Then, rather than waiting for a reply, the turn to the data for insights.

Video analytics are uniquely useful to salespeople because they go much deeper than views. Views only tell you that somebody saw something but provide no insight into what they thought of it. Take emails, for example. Sure, you can get a read receipt that somebody opened it, but did they jump for joy? Did they spit out their coffee, curse, and shut their laptop? You don’t know. With video, however, you at least get a hint.

People watch videos linearly. That means salespeople can track how much of the video prospects watched, where they paused, what they rewatched, how many times they returned to it, and whether they shared it. Sales teams can deduce what value propositions or products resonated most with the prospect based on where they focused their attention.

Top salespeople partner with their operations and marketing teams to write lead scoring rules that incorporate this data. It’s the ultimate insight. Rather than wonder “do they love me, or do they love me not?” salespeople know whether to recycle the lead or hammer the phones, all in real time.

There’s no secret to good old-fashioned effort

Top sellers aren’t out there sending the greatest number of videos, but they are recording it. They’re huddled in conference rooms, honing their craft and studying their customer. When it comes time to film, they talk in terms of “you,” not “I,” and they create just enough video to view the data and prioritize their leads. These sellers are the ones whose videos come across as authentic and genuine and build the human connection that’s so critical to sales. And if you’re looking to close more deals, that’s not a bad place to start.
