This is Fort La Latte - a medieval fortress built on a rock high above the northern Emerald coast of Brittany.

La Perouse, NSW - Great place for photography, but real busy so had to wait until sunset to get in a few shots of this tower without anyone in the frame Counted at least 3 wedding photography shoots over there yesterday, perfect spot for it!!

The sun sets on the South West coast of Jersey, Channel Islands. You can just see Corbiere Lighthouse poking it's head over the rocks.
One of the many lighthouses on Île d'Oléron, France where we went for our vacation. This shot was taken with a polarizer filter to darken the sky more. Landscape shots are not my forte, however, this image turned out really well and decided to take a few more lighthouse images whilst on the Island. I will post more lighthouses next week. Quando lei vide il mare si accesero i ricordi, sinuose le lacrime si fecero luce, tempi lontani, gli antichi timori. Incredula... portò al cuore il silenzio, la mano si fece vela per sentire il vento, la chioma divenne carezza e sfiorò il viso, libera... l'orizzonte di un'estate ormai chiusa non portò tristezza, davanti il mare... si involò in un cielo da sempre proibito.

Cuando ella vio el mar se encendieron los recuerdos, sinuosas las lágrimas se hicieron luz, tiempos lejanos, los antiguos temores. Incrédula llevó al corazón el silencio, la mano se hizo vela para sentir el viento, la cabellera se volvió caricia y rozó la cara, libre... el horizonte de un verano ya dique no llevó tristeza, delante el mar... desapareció en un cielo nuevo desde siempre prohibido.

This is the classic case of being in the wrong spot at the right time..... We were at some friends house for dinner in La Center, WA and I could see the clouds starting to build and I figured the sunset was gonna be good, but I had no idea it was gonna be this good....I decided to take off for the Wetlands near the edge of town and see if I could get a good shot of Mount Hood..well the mountain is much better seen from the road which is higher up. I ran up and down this gravel road/walkway as the sky just went off with some of the best color I have seen this year.....I tried to get down near the water but the sticker bushes wouldn't let me....I was wearing shorts and tee shirt.... so this was the best comp I could come up with.....
What I really liked about this was the way the cloud seems to be opening up....
And I am wondering if it would be better to crop out that branch on the left side....Thanks!!!!

Después de estar mucho tiempo sin subir fotos, este mes voy a intentar subir una fotografía cada día.
Es difícil sacar fotos a la Colegiata de Santillana pues todo el mundo que ha estado tiene varias y ya no digamos los que vivimos aquí. Esta es una enchubascada.

Headed down to La Perouse with the FOCUS group this morning it was nice to see some new faces today.
This is a 4 shot pano of the tower @ LP I really like the simplistic composition & contrasting colours.
La Perouse is a suburb in south-eastern Sydney. It is located about 14 kilometres south-east of the Sydney. La Perouse was named after the French navigator Jean-François de Galaup, comte de La Pérouse (1741-88), who landed on the northern shore of Botany Bay west of Bare Island in January 1788.
The first building in the area was the round stone tower constructed in 1820-22 as accommodation for a small guard of soldiers stationed there to prevent smuggling, and the tower still stands today. HDR
